16.01.2022 Yippee it's time to party FAQ 1.Are the fireworks back on? ... Yes. The fireworks display will be on at the end of the stage show from 8.30pm to 8.40pm over the Broadwater. 2.Is it a free event? The event is free entry and includes all stage show performances and kids entertainment free of charge. Just bring a picnic rug or chairs and take a seat on the lawn and enjoy the entertainment. 3.What’s not free? There will be a range of food trucks serving up a selection of food and drinks that can be purchased on the night. The Southport Surf Lifesaving Club will also be selling glow sticks for gold coin donations as a fundraising initiative. There will be an ATM available at the event. 4.What time are the bands on? The event runs from 4.30pm to 8.30pm. The bands will run as follows: 4.30pm to 5.30pm: Spectrum Duo, 5.30pm to 7pm: Oz Hornz and 7pm to 8.30pm: Killer Queen. 5.Where can I park? Limited parking is available onsite at Broadwater Parklands. Free Parking is available from 5pm at the following surrounding carparks: Carey Park Car Park Marine Parade Athol Paterson Car Park Suter Street Mal Burke Car Park Hicks Street Cloyne Road Car Park Cloyne Road 6.What public transport will get me there? Catch the G: Link to the Broadwater Parklands getting off at the Southport stop. Additionally you could make your journey active and ride, scoot or walk to the event. 7.Can I bring alcohol? No, the event is a family focused alcohol free event. 8.Can I bring my pet? Yes. Friendly dogs that are kept on a lead are always welcome. Keep in mind that if your furry friend is afraid of fireworks it might be best to leave them at home for the night. 9.What food will be available on the night?
