14.01.2022 What's wrong with our world today Put down the phone, send the angst away Talk to your children, take care of your life. Be a kind person, be a good wife.... Our patience is thin, our offence is thick We disregard rules we just dont think. Words that maim and shrivel a soul Just because we think it has to be told. We're cruel to others who aren't as bright Or rich or beautiful and we think it's alright. Alright to be arrogant, or proud or cynical Just to point out we're at the top, the pinnacle. Children are used like a common commodity Money's adored like its somethong Godly. Youth are disrespectful, wilful and wild. Friendships destroyed by a Facebook lie. Where is forgiveness? Where is love? Where is acceptance? Where is self-control? Where is innocence? Where is grace? What hides behind your happy face? What will break us and make us change? This random disease, Covid 19. Consumerism is on it's last knees Humanity's returning, care of community. Covid be gone let love rise let love rise let love rise!
