09.01.2022 NOTICE TO OUR DEAR PATIENTS PRACTICE LOCKDOWN DUE TO COVID-19 First and foremost, I trust that this note finds you and your family well. These are certainly uncharted and turbulent waters through which our community, country, and the world are navigating.... In the last 48 hours, the Optometry governing body in Australia and the Department of Health have issued a directive that routine optometric care should be suspended. I also believe at this point of the pandemic, along with the most credible information available at this time, it is no longer in the best interest of our patients, staff, families and myself to continue seeing patients due to the very close nature in which we work. As a result, I have decided not to see patients in the office until it is deemed safe to do so. Our practice will lock down for the month of April and reassess the situation in early May. As a result, all pre-existing appointments will be deferred. Please use our voice message system for any questions, or urgent inquires, or use the "Contact" page through the website which our staff will moniter regularly. The practice will be staffed for collections until next Wednesday 8th April. This is also an opportune time to say thank you for your ongoing collaboration. We look forward to life returning to normal, and continuing to serve the visual needs of our community. Wishing you and your loved ones continued good health.
