24.01.2022 Congratulations to our fabulous MT dancers on their great efforts during our recent in-house studio exams. After a roller coaster year and an extended period of time away from the studio, we wanted to still provide an opportunity for our students to present what they have been working so hard on throughout 2020. We were so impressed by the hard work, passion and professionalism we witnessed over the 3 week period. We hope you are all as proud of yourselves as we are of you!

22.01.2022 In search of a great way to finish off your year? Enrolments for 2020 at MT Dance close next week! Places available for boys and girls aged 3+ in Jazz, Hip Hop, Highland, Tap, Theatrical Performing Arts, Ballet, Contemporary/Lyrical and Acrobatics.

21.01.2022 Summer Term is now open for enrolment! Back by popular demand, these classes offer an opportunity to trial new genres, improve skills and get those holiday bodies back into dancing mode before Term 1 commences. Classes have been grouped by ages. 4-6 Combo will explore a variety of genres, including tap and we are running a Speciality Senior class! ... Parents are also welcome to come along to our Strength & Conditioning and/or Flexibility classes. We encourage you to take the three lessons over the mini-term, however, if you are only in town for a short time, you can also pop in just for one or two classes. Please check dates and times carefully as the term will commence on Tuesday 5th January and conclude on Monday 25th January. Contact us for an enrolment form.

18.01.2022 A huge congratulations to Miss Belinda on becoming an internationally certified Acrobatic Arts examiner! Miss Belinda was awarded a scholarship and flew to Melbourne at the beginning of the year to commence training, and after a heavy load of assessments over the last few months, she is now among a world class band of AA examiners who can examine acrobats across the globe!

17.01.2022 We are incredibly proud of our young, aspiring Kalgoorlie-Boulder dancers. Today they performed their collaborative work, choreographed by themselves with the assistance of the talented and inpiring teaching artists, Lauren Murray and Scott Galbraith from WA Ballet. The original contemporary piece was intricate and beautiful, showcasing the amazing talent we have here in our town. The girls were buzzing from the experience and can’t stop talking about how great the past week has been. We look forward to many more community dance collaborations in the future. Thank you WA Ballet and sponsors, for providing such a fantastic opportunity for regional dancers.

Another one of our super mums, working full time at St Mary’s Primary School, mum to 3 gorgeous, busy kids - you may catch her teaching dance, courtside at basketball or cheering from the stands at the hockey stadium all in the same day - not to mention she currently has a heavy study load in her spare time! 12.01.2022 Congratulations to our talented group of girls who were all successful in their WA Ballet audition over the weekend. These girls will now have the opportunity to spend an entire week, alongside WA Ballet teaching artists and other Kalgoorlie dancers, to perfect technique, build relationships and further extend their knowledge and passion for dance. The week long Youth Ensemble will culminate in a performance on Friday 2nd October. We can’t wait! Good luck to everyone involved! What an unbelievable opportunity for our local dancers!
