17.01.2022 FAQ’s Do I need to pre-purchase tickets? No. Tickets are available at the gate only. Gates open Thursday 29th April at 10am. There will be someone on the gate 24/7, so you can arrive at any time and pay to get in. Unfortunately due to lack of volunteers we have been unable to coordinate the presale of tickets this year. We will revist this in 2022.... What does the $90 weekend pass include? Camping, Entry to all events (races, rodeo, cabaret etc). The price is per adult. Children 16 and under are free of charge. Yes, if you are arriving Saturday it will still be $90 for a weekend pass. Is camping allocated? No. Camping sites are first in best dressed. All sites are non-powered. Toilet and Hot Shower Facilities are available on site throughout the camping areas. Yes you can have a campfire. Yes you can have a generator. Can we bring alcohol? BYO Alcohol is allowed in your campsites. No glass. Alcohol is NOT ALLOWED to be taken into the Races, Rodeo or Cabarets as these are licensed venues. Are numbers limited? Yes, we are operating under a COVID Safe plan and maximum numbers in areas will be abided by. Do I have to wear a mask? Queensland Health Guidelines for masks at the time of the event will be adhered to. How do I check-in? QR Codes will be available at the gate. All attendees must check-in. Is there food available onsite? Yes, there will be food and beverages available all weekend at each venue. I am competing, do I need to buy a ticket at the gate? Yes, all rodeo competitors are to purchase a ticket and then report to the secretarys office for their rodeo refund. How do I find out about what is happening at the Races? The website for the Mount Garnet Turf Club is www.mtgarnetraces.com or follow them on Facebook.

09.01.2022 It is with much disappointment we wish to advise, the Mt Garnet Races and Rodeo Weekend has been cancelled in May. Both Committees have been informed from our governing bodies it is in everyone's best interests to cancel our events until further notice. We are experiencing a unique and complex situation and we need to work together to help prevent the spread of Covid-19. Thankyou all for your support and understanding at this time and we look forward to seeing you all in 2021.

Our new retainer wall is coming together wonderfully. Thankyou to Brendan and Sue Tobler at Sunset Ridge Earthworks for your time and machinery.
