16.01.2022 We installed power to hot water system (4.8kw) (replacing gas) coupled with a solar diverter called Green Catch. @catchpower5321 in Glenn Innes developed the product for the rural market originally. The diverter monitors your energy usage and solar production and if there is any excess energy it diverts it to the hot water system minimum cut in is 100 watts (and then excess to the grid). It is a smart system in that it will use off peak power (either time of use or control...led tariff) to heat system if solar generation is insufficient for that day or you can select solar only (which is why in this case our client opted for the biggest tank available). The hot water system becomes an energy storage unit at less then a tenth of the price of a battery unit. #cleanenergy #solar #solarpower #electrician #greenenergysolutions #sydneybuilder #hotwatersystems #residential
