24.01.2022 It's National Volunteers Week! What a fitting time to once again thank our amazing band of volunteers who not only contribute to our annual show, but also those that care for our grounds on a regular basis, attend working bees, grant writers, workers at fundraising events (and those that donate food) and so much more. We like so many other show societies wouldn't survive without you, and are forever grateful. A huge thank you from our committee, you don't go unnoticed!!

17.01.2022 Did you know that our grounds are also used for annual Yard Dog Trials every year in July? This year, the Remarkable Yard Dog Committee are lucky enough to be hosting the National Kelpie Field Trial Championship as well! Why not make a week of it, set up camp in the ample camping space and see the talent of these dogs unfold right in front of your eyes.

12.01.2022 Representing the Melrose Show at the Northern Agricultural Shows Association of South Australia Association Presentation Dinner at Eundunda is Callie & Jeff McCallum, Helane Blieschke, Susan McCallum & Susan Prosser. Eudunda have put on an amazing set up on stage and the menu looks mouthwatering.

08.01.2022 The Mount Remarkable Agricultural Society Committee would like to pass on our sincere thanks to everyone that made our 2019 show possible. To the volunteers, stall holders, sponsors, trophy donors, exhibitors and the general public; we can't do this without you. Although the weather was shocking, the people still roaming side show alley and the pavilions was heart warming. The Committee love what we do, so thank you for supporting us. We look forward to seeing you for another great Melrose Show in 2020!

08.01.2022 Ewe beauty!! Great to see the Mount Remarkable Agricultural Society on this list to receive $234,400 to construct a new pavilion to replace our very old and run down ones. We are so excited to be improving our facilities for our competitors and patrons. 08.01.2022 A huge shout out to Tom Curtain and his crew for choosing the Melrose Showgrounds as one of the venues for his "In the West" tour. A big thank you to the community for supporting the event and to the volunteers who helped with set up and catering. A great afternoon of family entertainment ... thanks Tom and Annabel, hope to see you back one day!

You can guarantee a fantastic display of working dogs, an array of scrumptious food and one of the best backdrops around - what more could you want? Bring the family and camp on site. See you there!
