23.01.2022 This is too funny

23.01.2022 An inspiring talk by Sam Webb from LIVIN about the burden of masculinity, particularly on mental health. I loved Sams advice on ensuring you are a SAFE person i.e. are you someone who your loved ones could feel safe with and be open and vulnerable with?

20.01.2022 You don’t realise what people are going through. So please please please don’t look at other people’s lives (especially on social media) and think they are so much happier than you.

20.01.2022 Who else is guilty of doing this? As they say, comparison is the thief of joy! Be kind to yourself . . Illustration by @marloesdevee

11.01.2022 We often feel that saying no is selfish or rude. We find ourselves saying yes because we don’t want to disappoint or upset someone. However, constantly saying yes when we really want to say no is exhausting. There is only so much energy you can give in a day so it is important to honour your own needs and put yourself first sometimes. Learning to say no when you are too tired, when you don’t have the time or when it just simply isn’t important, does not make you a bad person.... You are still a good, generous and kind person without saying yes to everything. Slow down and take time for yourself. You’ll feel better for it . . . . #selfcare #psychologist #beingkind #sayingno #brisbanepsychology #brisbane #bekindtoyourself @katieabey See more

05.01.2022 Do you look outwardly for happiness? Are you always waiting for the next moment in time to arrive? It is important to realise that happiness comes from within. You dont have to wait for your next success to allow yourself to feel happy. By doing this you are placing conditions on your happiness and life is simply too short for that! #happiness #wellbeing #lookwithin
