12.01.2022 Day 274 - #ARFID. It IS an eating disorder, not just fussy eating. And this is such an accurate description of WHY Mini Miss will favour certain food types over others. She NEEDS her food to always be the same. Unexpected flavours and textures throw her and turn her off eating. She used to like strawberries, then had a sour one. It was different, and that was it. Strawberries are no longer safe, predictable or in her eyes, nice to eat. This is also why I can’t hide veggies in sauces or meals, the slightest change can turn her completely off that food for months/years/forever. This is what a safe food is. The same.
