12.01.2022 MEDALS MEDALS We have some 5 km medals for all those who missed our last weekend. Come in and collect from reception at Mudgee Physio. First in first serve.

12.01.2022 COVID-19 is turning our world upside down! Our committee recently held its first ever Zoom meeting to discuss the future of our 2020 Mudgee Running Festival; sadly, weve made the extremely tough decision to CANCEL our event for this year. Many factors led to this outcome; the most significant was the uncertainty as to whether we would even be allowed to hold our event in August. There are at least 3,000 hours of blood, sweat and CHEERS that our volunteers put into planning ...and hosting our event each year. The possibility of this turning into blood, sweat then TEARS was just too high. If you have already registered for 2020, we will automatically refund your entry fee over the next week. Theres no need to contact us to request this. Well be back again in 2021 for our 20th Anniversary Take #2 and hope to see you all there. And the evidence is overwhelming...Mudgee wine does make you run faster. Our Marathon winner downed a glass on his way past...he was just too quick to catch it on film!

08.01.2022 There are so many things to about our region. Here are few:

08.01.2022 Will the 2020 Mudgee Running Festival will go ahead given the coronavirus situation? The honest answer is: we have no idea. At present, were planning to run our event in 22 weeks (5 months); we hope that on Aug 16 well be cheering you across the finish line. But we just dont know; the situation remains fluid with policies and advice changing daily (even hourly).... Early Bird entry prices are available until 30 June - so we recommend you add #MRF2020 to your calendar for 16 Aug and start training. Just wait a couple of months before registering (weve temporarily disabled online regos). Comment below, and well send you a personal reminder mid-June. If we are going ahead as planned, we dont want you to miss out on a one of our lovely shirts! If you have already registered and we need to cancel our event, our committee will have a big cry, and then well refund your entry fees. Well keep you updated on our thoughts throughout the next couple of months, in the meantime, please remember to continually wash your hands, practice social distance and stay at home if youre feeling unwell. Lets work as a community to keep everyone safe and hope that well be running, walking and skipping around our beautiful region in August! #mudgeeregion #runmudgee #waitinggame
