16.01.2022 Our Born to Read, Toddler Time and Bookworms childrens programs will resume next week at Mudgee, Gulgong and Kandos branches. Social distancing must be maintained at all times and numbers will be monitored to ensure the space remains safe for all. There will be no in-house craft at this stage, activity sheets for children to complete at home will be provided instead. ... Our Summer Reading Program (Myths and Legends) launches on Tuesday 1 December register at your local library and join in the fun for your chance to win some great prizes. Every person who registers will also get to select a free book! This year there will also be a Reading Challenge just for adults.... Upon registration, participants will receive a kit which includes a reading log, bonus activities to earn extra tickets in the prize draw, and some other neat goodies The prize draw will be held at Mudgee Library on Wednesday 3 February at 4pm. So don’t delay pop into your local library and sign-up from Tuesday 1 December!

All library services now available, observing social distancing guidelines, and with some limits in place no childrens programming or events available at this time. While we welcome people into the Library to read and study, we recommend visits are no longer than 2 hours at this time.

09.01.2022 Were delighted to announce that weve once again partnered with Mudgee Readers Festival and Mid-Western Regional Council Library to deliver our second One YA... Book One Community project This time around we will all be reading Deep Water by Australian author Sarah Epstein. Youll be able to get your hands on one of the 150 copies from Monday 17 August, until 10 October. Due to COVID-19 were having to do things a little differently this time, and the books will only be available to collect from the four library branches across the region.
