25.01.2022 Tough having this as our learning space at times. We had a wonderful morning using our five senses at the park today

25.01.2022 For the month of September we have opted to slow things down and go back to basics. The children have been having lots of fun, being creative, using their imagination and more while revisiting a large variety of skills with these activities. Some of the favourites this month included wooden blocks, baby play, trucks, train sets, magnetic blocks, tea sets, puzzles, sand play, water play, balloons, bubbles, musical instruments, playing soccer, ball skills, drawing and playdough just to name a few. They especially loved when Kim dropped in from the scheme this week for a kick around

24.01.2022 I liked climbing on those ropes today nae, I like climbing up high Even, I’m not afraid So many feelings are associated with risky play ranging from enjoyment, excitement, pride to achievement just to name a few. All of these are extremely positive feelings and go a long way to grow a child’s confidence and self esteem.

Thanks to one of my parents for nominating me. I love what my service has to offer. My parents and children add to this each and every day to make us the best service we can possibly be. I wouldn’t be able to be the educator I am without you guys

14.01.2022 Brush your teeth up and down, brush your teeth round and round The children did a great job brushing the sticky jam, icecream and chocolate off Mr Potato Heads teeth this afternoon. Round and round motions helps make Mr Potato heads teeth sparkly white. Just one of our favourite and fun activities for Dental Health Week

10.01.2022 The first Wednesday of October is always walk to school day so we decided to get in on the action to refresh our road safety skills and to help promote how great walking is in terms of exercise, social interaction, topics of conversation, learning opportunities and most importantly because it’s just great fun to be out and about being active and seeing new things.
