25.01.2022 GOLF SUCCESS // Massive congratulations to Year 10 Student Amy Hodgkins who has not only recently won the A Grade Club Championships at Redcliffe Golf Club but also finished an incredible 5th place at the QLD State Championships in Cairns. Well done Amy!

25.01.2022 SECONDARY ATHLETICS CARNIVAL // Our Secondary students showed a whole lot of house spirit at today's carnival. The competition was strong and it was exciting to watch the students give their all. More photos to come in next week's Mueller Connect.

20.01.2022 BOSL TOUCH FINALS NIGHT RECAP // Congratulations to all players who took part in the the BOSL Touch Finals Night and especially those who came away grand-final winners! While having them delayed from Term1 may have reduced the usual build-up of excitement leading into finals, it definitely did not take away from the quality of the night. Thank you to all those parents, friends, and injured players who came down to support on Friday. And special thanks to all the coaches who h...ave put in all throughout the year! 18.01.2022 Regional Swimming// last week we had 17 students from Mueller swim at the Regional Trails. Congratulations to all students that participated you guys swam amazingly with some outstanding achievements. Well done to the 6 students that made the Sunshine Coast Team and swimming at the State Trials. Sophie Burger, Piper Sanderson, Tate Sanderson, Rylee Smith, Charlotte Bradley and Tex Copeland. Special mention to Rylee Smith who qualified for 11 events at States, huge accomplishment. Good luck to all.

Heartbreaking loss by our Junior Boys 1 team led by captain Nick Turner and All BOSL Rep Logan Gregson via penalties to finish runners up for the season. 16.01.2022 SECONDARY NETBALL ACADEMY TRIALS// The 2020 Mueller College Netball Academy trials are happening this Wednesday (15 July) and Friday (17 July) afternoon at the Lacey Sports Centre. This year the college has implemented a new extra-curricular sign-up process. If your child will be attending the trials on Wednesday and Friday, you must accept permission on Parent Portal beforehand. Please see below for instructions on how to do this.... 1. Open Parent Portal and go to Student Details - Extra Curricular 2. Click on the green Sign-Up Available button 3. Press Sign-up button next to Netball Academy 2020 4. Be sure to press the Verify box to confirm that your Child's medical details are up to date The $60 academy fee is not charged until after the trials should your child be selected in a team.

16.01.2022 TOUCH ACADEMY CAMP 2020 // Mueller Touch Academy is predicting 2020 to be a tipping point in culture as it moves into the middle of its foundational years. Academy camp over the weekend affirmed this as 100 students applied themselves to the learning of the game and grew closer together as their journey continued. We are all excited to see how far the teams can push at regional and state championships later in the year. 13.01.2022 CSAQ TOUCH TOURNAMENT // Congratulations to the Yr9/10 touch academy boys who went undefeated all day until the grand final. Losing 4-5 in a grand final is never easy to swallow but we learn more from our loses than our wins . We are proud of you boys!

13.01.2022 MUELLER TOUCH ACADEMY // While things may be slowing down a little at the moment within the Mueller Touch Academy, there is still at lot happening behind the scenes. We are currently developing new coaching tools for both players and coaches! And have begun the process of becoming a Touch Football Australia endorsed school program. Academy Coordinator Mr Garthe attended the 2020 National Touch League Tournament last week to help keep moving these initiatives forward. #buildingathletes #growingcommunity

09.01.2022 CSAQ TOUCH TOURNAMENT // Great day in the city playing against Christian Schools from all around Brisbane. For the first time ever we took a clean sweep and won all 3 divisions!!! We even had 2 of our second teams make the semi finals. Well done Mueller Touch Academy. Pressure is on the Grade9/10 Boys next Friday to complete the clean sweep and bring home the gold.

You put in far more than you take and we are all grateful for this. Thank you to all players (and parents) for your hard work and commitment to learning the game and having a heap of fun. Thank you to everyone for buying in on another level to building athletes & growing community. We hope you all take out the positives (rather than the negatives) that comes from a slower paced life over these next 3weeks of holidays. 07.01.2022 TOUCH ACADEMY ALUMNI GAME // Each year shortly after trials, the newly selected Senior Boys & Senior Girls 1st teams play their first official game of the season against the alumni (past players) team. Results Boys: alumni 3 - current 1 Girls: current 7 - alumni 0... Great first performance by our current senior girls! And well done to the boys past players for securing the first ever win by an alumni team! Thanks to all the alumni players from 2015 - 2019 for coming out and enjoying a solid afternoon of touch football, followed by a great night catching up! We will promote this event next year to the whole touch academy (and mueller community) as it is growing into a great exhibition event.
