Our volunteers will be handing out basic food items at various locations on the 24th of November (Tuesday) to registered students. 22.01.2022 This will be our last Alumni Night of the Semester! and we wanted to close it with the Pharmaceutical Science Faculty Don't miss out on the opportunity to learn from people who have made it! Meet Miss Syaza... She was born and raised in Singapore. She completed her undergraduate studies in Pharmaceutical Science at Monash University and is currently pursuing her PhD. Her work focuses on formulating an assembled colostrum to enhance the nutritional outcomes in premature infants. Syaza is also a teaching assistant at Monash and is a social media representative for the Monash American Association of Pharmaceutical Science Student Chapter. Besides drug formulation, Syaza’s other love is oil painting. When she is not busy cranking up experiments in the lab, she spends her time reading, road-tripping and doing Pilates as a flexible addition to her interests. and Meet Miss Jamie (Yuen Yi Lam) is a PhD candidate at Monash University, Melbourne, Australia. She earned a Bachelor of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences (Advanced with Honours) at Monash University. Her project aims to understand the mechanisms of metabolically labeling the intestinal tissues to achieve site-specific delivery of nanoparticles. Outside of research, she is also acting as the Vice President of the Parkville Postgraduate Association, Vice President of the American APS, the marketing lead of the Young Scientist Committee and the student representative of the Monash Graduate Research Committee.
