24.01.2022 We’re pumped to welcome Tom McGowan back to Mulgrave for the 2021 season. A former Glen Waverley Rovers Junior Football Club junior, Tom lit up the early games in 2014, booting 73 goals for the Mulgrave Under 19s on the way to the premiership. He went on to senior footy at Mully and was our leading goalkicker in 2016. Tom returns to Mulgrave after a couple of years at Foster, where he played in a senior flag and led the Alberton Football League goalkicking in 2019.... 21.01.2022 Huge shout out to our coterie group, the Mully Grubs. Launched last year by a couple of legends in Gerry Boonkkamp and Daniel Stokie, they hit their ambitious membership target immediately and we didn’t even have a footy season! That’ll change in 2021 and we can’t wait to see the Grubs enjoying themselves at their matchday functions and other events. The first is the Golf Day in March you can join them for a hit, with the chance to win a new Merc or $10k cash (see separate ...post for details). Following that is their season launch day at our Round 1 home game against South Belgrave. It takes a lot to put our teams on the park and the court and give them the best chance of success. 17.01.2022 Eastern Football Netball League has released updates to the footy fixture after the loss of Rounds 8 and 9 due to COVID restrictions. Round 10 is set to go ahead as scheduled, so our planned return is next Saturday at home against Templestowe. Our Round 8 clash (away vs South Belgrave) has been rescheduled to the end of the home and away season, while Round 9 (away vs Boronia) has been cancelled.... Finals have been shortened to a two-week knockout format. Any updates to netball fixtures are still to come. Obviously all plans for the remainder of the season are subject to change based on direction from government and AFL Victoria. Let’s get back! #mully #mulgrave #mulgravefc #gomully

06.01.2022 It’s probably no surprise but the call has been made to postpone our mega premiership reunion, which was to be held this Saturday. With clarity on updated COVID restrictions unlikely until late this week, planning for the event - especially for those travelling to attend - has become impossible. It’s unfortunate and frustrating news, particularly for those teams that were due their reunion last year! But the reunion will definitely still happen and a new date will be advised ...as soon as possible. All invitees will be sent this information, but please spread the word nonetheless.
