12.01.2022 #dairycowmonitoring Seen here is a screen shot of the distress alert Allflex's Clancy Jordan received direct to his phone the evening his cow calved. The graph ...is generated by the Allflex Dairy Cow Monitoring System. The symbols in the middle represent: pram (calving); black cow (distress); syringe (treatment)and the y-axis represents the rumination in minutes. As the rumination dropped sharply, due to a case of milk fever in the older cow, the distress alert notified Clancy to intervene promptly with a calcium boost injection. The cow had an excellent response to the treatment and recovered well; with both cow and calf doing great! This is just one way our Allflex Dairy Cow Monitoring System can help make farmer's lives easier and better equipped to manage their herd. For inquiries call us on 1300 138 247. #allflexAU #allflexaustralia #dairy #dairyfarming #dairyfarmer #dairyaustralia #australiandairy #cowhealth #dairyhealth #livestockmonitoring #livestockintelligence
