25.01.2022 A few days ago we asked the internet to stop misery scrolling for a moment, and to sing with us! Over 1000 people from 18 countries submitted a video of their p...erformance of Close To You (Burt Bacharach) in just TWO DAYS. Every submission that we successfully received was manually added to the collective. And then we saw the magic unfold Plug in those earphones and turn this up! We cant adequately express in words what a gift your videos were to us. Each was like unwrapping a beautiful, personal, virtual hug. Thanks for trusting us with your voices, and for sharing your lives with us for a few minutes. We really hope the result gives you something to smile about. 24.01.2022 In the community spirit of Multitude supporting our other Northern Moreton Bay local musical groups....notice of a concert from Moreton Bay Symphony Orchestra and Qld Musical Theatre on Saturday 21st March, 2pm at Clontarf Beach High School. So relevant to our choir, because well be presenting some of these same songs, plus many different, from the musicals in our own concert.....Forward mark this important date....Saturday evening 12th September, at Sandgate Town Hall. Our guest artists will be Vox Populus choir. Stay tuned for further details as the date draws nearer.

24.01.2022 National Police Remembrance Day service, September 29 In commemoration of National Police Remembrance Day, police, their families and community members will pause on Tuesday, September 29 to pay tribute to fallen officers.For the past few years, Multitude has been honoured to sing at the service conducted by North Moreton District. National Police Remembrance Day is held every year to honour police officers across the country who have lost their lives and ensure the integrit...y, courage and bravery of their ultimate sacrifice is never forgotten. In Brisbane, this day is usually marked by a march through the CBD, followed by a service. Due to COVID-19 restrictions and concerns for the community’s safety, things will be a little different for our commemorative activities. Unfortunately, there will be no march or public service held this year. The Queensland Police Service instead invites you to remember alongside them by joining in the viewing of a live streamed service on National Police Remembrance Day. 23.01.2022 Multitude sings for Close the Gap. Only a week to go for the choirs family and friends night in support of Close the Gap day. Wed love to see lots of people attending, entry by donation gives you an inside peek at how a choir rehearsal operates. Youll hear some of the songs from the great musicals, which were busy learning for our concert at Sandgate Town Hall later this year. Raffles and supper included. 7pm. 20.01.2022 Here is a perfect example of sound to symbol connection. Learning to connect which symbol represents which sound is a vital skill in music and is actually an overlapping skill with language reading. In other words, children who learn to connect symbols with sounds through music find connecting symbols with sound in language much easier.

04.01.2022 Happy New Year to all present and former Multitude members,friends and supporters. In 2020 we present our own concert, so what a great time to join, or re-join the choir. No audition, no musical experience required. And what better incentive than to say it in verse... Wonder if we could add music to this? Come, join us Thursday nights to share the love of singing At Margate Baptist hall... youll hear our voices ringing. At 7 on the dot walk in and say hello No matter if your voice sings medium, high or low. Everyone is welcome to join our lovely choir All you need to bring is a strong desire to share the joy of music with other happy souls A mix of rock, pop, jazz Thats how our choir rolls.
