22.01.2022 On Monday 11th January 2021 we welcome back our C.E.O Mr Craig Cooper who will be returning to the club to take up his normal duties. His wife will be coming back with Craig so if you see Deb around the club please make her welcome. 17.01.2022 A message from our President: Hello Members Firstly let me apologise for not being able to keep you all up to date in relation to the C.E.O position in the club. As I have been in hospital having major surgery I have not had the opportunity to get an update out to you.... The last contact we had was that the C.E.O Craig Cooper was to go on Leave of Absence to attend to a serious illness of his wife. We at that time believed that we had the services of Mr. Garry Felton that would fill in during Craig's absence. Sadly a couple of days into the workload and Garry decided that he preferred his retirement lifestyle, we then made an attempt to secure the services of another local person and again that was not successful. The board then made the decision to approach our recruitment agency and we have been successful in employing the services of Mr. Steve Fraser who luckily lives locally and was in the position to start almost straight away. Steve has had extensive experience in the club industry having served as the C.E.O of Coffs Harbour Ex Services club for many years, relief manager at Tewantin-Noosa Golf Club, also as a Training and Business Planning consultant. We as the board are very happy that Steve was in the position to take over the duties of the C.E.O whilst Craig is away, so could everyone make Steve feel welcome, go up and introduce yourself and say hello, plus be as supportive as possible to make his job that much easier. As we approach the end of a very turbulent year on behalf of myself the President and the board of Directors may we take this opportunity to wish everyone a happy Christmas and a healthy New Year. 08.01.2022 Hi players. Unfortunately the Pro Shop was broken in to last night. The place isn't too badly messed up but the Pro Shop may be closed for a little while until ...the Police finish with fingerprints and reviewing footage later this morning. Today's Thursday competition is still going ahead as normal and we are set up taking comp fees outside the Pro Shop. Sorry for any inconvenience, See you soon. We are all ok. 04.01.2022 COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS UPDATE - 28th October 2020. We welcome all visitors into the Clubhouse, Pro Shop and Course provided that those visiting are not from a COVID-19 active area. At this stage this includes Campbelltown, Liverpool, Lakemba, Camden, Victoria & Overseas. If you are from Sydney you may be stopped for questioning. Sydney visitors must remain in their group and avoid co mingling and contact with other members and guests while on the premises. As we have done, ...the Club will continue to monitor the Covid activity and changes to the current entry policy may occur. The club reserves the right to refuse entry to members and guests who fail to comply with the Clubs internal COVID-19 Safety Plan. It is preferred that golfers playing from areas outside of Port Macquarie play in their own group or singly to avoid co mingling and ensure social distancing remains in place. They must provide as a minimum to James and his staff contact details eg mobile phone number and email and a residential address. We ask that if you are experiencing any symptoms to please isolate and get yourself tested. We appreciate your cooperation and compliance in working with us during these times.

02.01.2022 Important Message Re: Covid-19 Restrictions - 8.1.2021 Since January 1st it is a government requirement for businesses to have ALL visitors sign in via the Service NSW app by scanning the QR Code we have supplied at reception. Please note that the Pro Shop and Clubhouse are counted as two separate businesses meaning if you sign in at the Pro Shop you are NOT signed into the Clubhouse and vice versa. ... We are currently not permitting entry to those from the Greater Sydney Region, Wollongong and Central Coast You will also be denied entry if you have been in contact with anyone from these 'active areas' or if you have visited in the past 14 days. After returning from any of these areas or after your visitors have left, you will then need to isolate for 14 days before visiting Port Macquarie Golf Club EVEN if you have provided a negative COVID-19 test result.
