The mum who built up her own business isn't "too cocky now". That kick ass lady who lost 4 stone and trained to run a marathon you think changed when "she got skinny", she did change. She believed in herself enough to make something happen. Fucking celebrate that magnificence. We are all wankers to each other at some point in our lives. Just don't sit with it all long enough for that level of wankism to become comfortable enough you don't see how toxic it is. Women supporting women is one of the single most powerful tools we can do for each other and yet it is massively under used by many who believe either - she doesnt need to hear it, it's not my job, why should I bother? Or I'm just a bit (if you are really honest) jealous and I don't know to deal with that shit. Being jealous is okay, but its important to work through that otherwise you turn into a Bitter Barbara (no offence Babs) and the stick pushes further up your arse over how you feel justified to act the way you do. Does it feel good? Being that uptight watching another woman succeed? Because you also have that ability to have success in whatever you do. First step is to stop watching someone's else's life waiting for failure and focus on your own my babes. There are many, many women on here who I see being so much more successful than me. That hasn't made me bitter, its made me cheer harder for the legends who do make a success of this business. I'm proud of my achievements and I'm so incredibly fucking grateful for the women who continue to be a cheerleader me. I feel empowered because of them.
