22.01.2022 Hi Guys. I have been let down by the guys currently doing this job. I contract for spray-booth servicing for a crash repair in Holden Hill, one Saturday of the month around the 12th of each month.... This requires 2 people for most of the services, with an extra twice a year. Im currently chasing a couple people to help me with this contract. It is casual work, as mentioned one sat each month. Pay ends up average $30.00 per hour, including all loading etc, with 4 hours for 10 services a year, 12 hours for one, and 14 hours for another. Person must have a mature attitude, be reliable, and able to work well with others. It is not had work, but is a little tedious. Please respond if your interested, or you know anyone who might be. Derek

22.01.2022 Got a bit done yesterday, despite the rain. Power done in terminal box, 5 drives also wired. Is taking longer than wanted, but getting there.

21.01.2022 Finally got the thrust washers, and rod bolts (Dam torque to yeild). Can finally move on now.

21.01.2022 Hmmmm which wire goes where. No drawings. Time to start following wires. At least there numbered i spose.

19.01.2022 Yet another glorious weekend in the country. 20+ hours plus travel to install inverter drive to irrigation pump in Barmera. Lucky I love my work. Seems to have dropped running current by 15-20 amps, and no 200+ startup current anymore.

19.01.2022 And now from this to that again (finally). Was an absolute pig this one. Found a stuffed sensor on the rail trying to start the thing, was likely what caused it to stop in the first place. The sensor saved his arse in this case, if it had of been driven much longer with stuck rings, a broken cam dowel, and burning oil like crazy, it would likely have gone bang big time.

17.01.2022 A bit more done. About half tthe cable in and started on the junction box. Back again tomorrow.

17.01.2022 So far of the 500 piece puzzle. Still cant tell what it is though. Hopefully soon

17.01.2022 Another end to a full on couple weeks. With no rest in the near future.

14.01.2022 After bring rained out, 3 compressors changed over. All running good. Only 2 left now.

12.01.2022 A bit more cabling. Back friday, terminate junction box and drives. Likely be commissioning monday.

11.01.2022 This thing has turned out to be a complete pig. Am starting to see why they charge so much to do these things. Dont think im making much on this one at all. Ready to install tomorrow, finally.

11.01.2022 Another full on day Blown motor in need of repair, stinking I-Loads.. Turned photo one into 2 and 3 in 4 hours working on the side of the road. Fun!!!!

11.01.2022 Mongrel week coming up. Finish Peter Kittle Crash, photos to come Finish work at Egans Asset Management warehouse Need to start servicing at Costa Almonds Angle Vale A week behind already

10.01.2022 Stinking I-Load. Can you spot the difference. This can sometimes be the trouble with getting aftermarket. Didn't see this until I went to install the collets. Same motor, Same vehicle. Cant get collets anywhere (even genuine). Can only assume the single slot collet is an old model, superseded in the Hyundai system.

08.01.2022 No idea what I was looking at till I got here. Shouldnt be too bad. Lucky I packed for anything. Installing VSD drives on 6 of these fridge/freezers. Saves around 20-40% power on average.

08.01.2022 Renewed the back springs on the beast. What a difference. Raise it by 20-30cm, the last photo shows the trailer where I disconnected it, and the new height of the ute.

08.01.2022 Breakdowns, callouts etc. Only get back here now. Will see what I can get done today. Absolutely crap weather though.

08.01.2022 Time to start reassembling the I-load. Let me see, part A with B, and D with uuummmm........ Am crack testing the pistons tomorrow. More to come

07.01.2022 Houston we have liftoff. On 3 so far at least. The 3 ac units running well.

06.01.2022 Absolute Perfect way to spend my xmas break. Upgrading spraybooths at a local sprayshop. Was good fun though

06.01.2022 Day two. Didnt get to mount any drives, but theyl wait till monday.. Got all the tray done, was a crap job, working on my back in a 50cm gap, pulling cable is going to be a real bitch on this one..

05.01.2022 Drives connected, panel connected, sensors connected. Pissing down. Not doing changeover in this weather. Update drawings and try again tomorrow.

05.01.2022 New injectors, and recon pump. Less puzzle pieces left now.

05.01.2022 Sunday 11am. Finally finished the last one. Only about 26 hours worked. Now for the short trip home Yay.

04.01.2022 Yet the end of another working sunday. Yay. Am stuffed This crap was supposed to be done by a licensed sparky!!... Can you see whats wrong here.. I get pissed when I have to fix stupid shit, even more so when its done by someone who should know better. Didnt look at the rest of the house, would hate to think what might be elsewhere.

04.01.2022 with risk of getting in trouble. Rape and Pillage is now legal, look below Bosch sensor in bosch box $350.00 (Still ridiculous, but gets worse)... Bosch sensor in Hyundai box $1300.00 are they kidding Bosch injector in bosch box $450.00 Bosch injector in Hyundai box $1900.00 again are they kidding Not surprising, none of the hyundai stuff is in stock either
