23.01.2022 These guys brought the love, and then some! I know that getting the family together for a shoot, especially with little ones, can be a little chaotic. But this is what I love about shoots - we don't need calm to make a great shoot. These boys are so well loved and that's all that mattered.... You never realise how fleeting these moments are until you realise they were the 'last time': The last time in their cot, before going to a toddler bed. The last time in their pram, before they walk everywhere. The last time you can carry them, before they are too big. The last time they watch that silly tv show on abc kids, before they are too grown up. 19.01.2022 You know that feeling when your plans change, and then they change, and then they change again? I think after last year we are all experts in being flexible with managing plans. ... Am i right? After rescheduling this shoot due to weather and other circumstances, we finally got together. 14.01.2022 Ok, can I confess something? I almost deleted this shot. The light was low, direct and I felt the greenery from behind was pulling focus. "Ah, let's just see what it looks like in black and white" i told myself. So I did. And the picture stayed.... And so did the other three shots in this frame and it became a client fav too. 13.01.2022 To all the mums: I know that you are really feeling it. Our toddlers are keen to go out, school kids are constantly adjusting and our teenagers are missing their friends. Caring for our kids is a privilege but it's exhausting. ... I've been reminded this week that I need to give myself the same care and grace that I give my children. Grace to know it's OK to feel mixed emotions. Grace to know that I don't have to do everything right or perfect. 09.01.2022 So, I guess we are going to be at home for a bit, yea ? :) I was really hoping to carry on with newborn and other family shoots but after careful consideration, it just wouldn't be sensible. ... 03.01.2022 Sometimes you just meet people who are that little bit extra special. Back in my early days, Emma and James were among my first clients. They took a chance on me and I am so glad they did. This is now the 4th shoot I have been honored to take with them. Three newborns and a family shoot later i can honestly say that this is why i do what i do: sharing the joy as families grow in number, and in love. ... What's more is that i love how my families trust me to capture all the moments, especially the real ones. Which i feel, make the most beautiful ones in the end, Thank you Emma and James - for keeping it as beautiful as you do real .

01.01.2022 Oh, hey there! It's so nice to see you :D We have been a little quiet lately, but all for good reason! This year, I took a creative step aside to give time to some special projects. I've been enjoying having some time to help Mia in her ASD journey and she is doing amazing. ... I've also been having some fun with Jess from Joyess Images in some of her wedding and portrait adventures. (If you need a wedding photographer, check her out, she is truly amazing). But I just want to take a moment to thank you all for a wonderful 2019. I have truly cherished every shoot and meeting all your families (and those babies <3 <3 <3) . Next year is going to be awesome. A new website is coming very soon with new packages and features that i think you will 'simply love' (hint hint) .
