25.01.2022 Making connections with nature.. our toddlers are so curious, they absorb much more than we know! Following on from the recent installation of our new garden signs, the children have been obsessed with linking what they see on the sign to what they can find in the garden. The children saw a bug making its way across the path; immediately some of the toddlers made the connection that it was the same bug that they could see on their garden poster. They tried to engage with t...he bug and found a leaf to they could touch it at a safe distance. Having the bug so close created a lot of interest with the children with many of them coming over to look at the bug closely. They are such wonderful little souls as they then took the leaf and released the bug back into the garden, showing us they have great empathy for creatures and will most definitely be the next generation of planet warriors, taking all the information we give them to make the world a better place! Childhood is the time to encourage and nurture early interests in nature and all living things. #natureplay #bugs #toddlerlife #caringforourplanet #beingbelongingbecoming #sustainability #outdoorplay #earlylearning #earlychildhoodeducation #exceedingthestandard See more

24.01.2022 Pull out your favourite pair of jeans tomorrow and wear them to Kindy.. double denim if you can!! Its Jeans for Genes day tomorrow and we are supporting this wonderful cause on Friday 7th August. Our teachers are excited as its the one day of the year that they can wear jeans to work!! So we cant wait to see you all in your denim.

24.01.2022 Our market gardens are back up and running for the first day of spring.. our resident horticulturist is back on site again and assisting our children with their planting, feeding and building of the garden beds.. ready for summer harvest. The benefits of providing this extension program for our children is multifaceted and extremely beneficial.. gardening and teaching the children about the life cycles of plants encourages some of our fussy eaters to try a particular vegetab...le... studies show that when children grow their own vegetables they are five times more likely to add salad ingredients to their plate; we just love that!! It also teaches the children about responsibility, waiting for a reward, planning and looking forward, interpersonal skills as they work together for a common goal and their fine motor skills are refined as they dig, plant, handle the delicate seedlings and water them on a daily basis.. we think gardening is great! #gardeninginchildcare #kidsinthegarden #sustainability #gardeninglife #kindergarten #environmentisthirdteacher #exceedingthestandard #healthyeating #nomorefussyeaters See more

23.01.2022 Through encounters with materials, children become comfortable using these materials to express their understanding, emotions and creativity. Our toddlers were offered natural materials, paint and a canvas and left to engage, discover and create. It was interesting to watch the sensations as they worked out how it felt with a non traditional paint brush and watch the marks that the natural materials left behind. In process driven art there is no right or wrong way to explor...e and create; it acknowledges that each individual is unique and different. Art should be treated as an opportunity for expression of the childs understanding rather than a representation of an object. These beautiful canvas creations are proudly displayed in our toddler teaching space; pop in next time and enjoy viewing their work. #childrenarecompetentandcapable #toddlerlife #reggioemiliaapproach #reggioinspired #creativity #childrenarecreative #exceedingexpectations #centreofexcellence See more

23.01.2022 Final chance to wear the red or blue for the State of Origin tomorrow - last game of the season!

22.01.2022 A wonderful reminder about the quirks of raising boys.. as the mum of a wonderful teenage boy myself, I can recall many scenarios where I asked him to do something, only to find out hours later he forgot about it and was distracted doing something else that he found much more interesting! Its important to remember that our boys are more prone to forgetting things than girls, and its not that they want to, its biological. We love Maggie and her great advice about raising boys... and girls.. she has some good solid tips in this little video.

22.01.2022 Art and creativity in our Reggio inspired curriculum explores the contribution of art and creativity to early education and others. Its important that our children feel a connection to others and share their perception of their world with others. Our pillars of kindness philosophy asks that the children are kind to themselves, kind to others and kind to the environment. Our kindergarten children designed art with to share with their junior kindy friends.. displaying it on... their walls as a permanent reminder of their friendship. William and Lucas..we are drawing our friend Lucy... Nathan.. I drawed Oakli and me coz I love him because I know him from next to my house Call in to see the beautiful illustrations next time you are in, it is such a meaningful collaboration #kindergarten #earlychildhoodeducation #earlychildhoodeducator #reggioemiliaapproach #reggioinspired #childrenarecompetentandcapable #childrenarecreative #friendship #collaboration See more

21.01.2022 This post was shared to our collaborative Munchkins professional educator page; a page where we share readings, inspirations, professional development and reflect on initiatives and projects together.... our team has suggested that we share this with our families as many conversations recently have found that some of you are feeling a little challenged by your childs behaviour. Remember our children need us to be the calm in their chaos and support them through their emotions and teach them how to navigate their emotional response.. Happy Reading

21.01.2022 Spring has certainly sprung today!! The glorious weather has us thinking all things sunflowers and sunshine! We encourage the children to celebrate the connection we have with the seasons around us and help them to make meaning of the seasons and how so much of our lives are connected to them, the weather and the climate. Our children took full advantage of spring today with their physical education program; jumping, hoping, climbing, skipping and using all the big body muscles. Sunflowers in our art station also drew some attention today.. stunning imagery was created by the children #spring #childrenarecreative #childrenarecompetentandcapable #futurechamps #reggioemiliaapproach #reggioinspired #artartelier #sunflowers

20.01.2022 How fabulous does our collaborative canvas look! Our children came together this week and were asked to contribute their voices, markings and creativity to our shared NAIDOC week canvas. We always have something of a keepsake for our significant days; they hang with us for a while and bring back warm memories of the times that we shared creating it. Please stop by to look at the children’s voices and their highly valued contributions.. so many hours have been dedicated to this beautiful piece .... we will cherish this one. #naidoc2020 #naidocweek #collaborativepartnerships #childrenarecompetentandcapable #childrenarecreative #sharedvoices #culturaldiversity #respect #kindergarten #exceedingthestandard #centreofexcellence #reggioinspired #reggioemiliaapproach

20.01.2022 Our children are curious with a natural born desire to figure out how things work and push the boundaries of their thinking. Magnets and tall towers have been a constant line of inquiry recently and they have kept our children exploring for hours! Along with building tall towers with blocks, they wanted to create a tall tower with the magnets.. ‘but it won’t stay’.. ‘it falls over’... so the children set about working out a solution to this problem. As you can see, they reve...rsed the process; instead of building from the ground up, they decided to build it from the top down! They attached the magnet to the fan (metal.. so it stuck) and then they built from there. This truly shows that our children are capable and able to use their sophisticated layers of thinking to solve almost any problem that they are presented with - we were super impressed! There was a further extension when the children wanted to know how strong their tower was and how long it would stay attached to the fan if we turned the fan on slowly.. so safety was discussed, the many possibilities were explored and we set about seeing what the outcome would be (video to follow in next post!) This is what a high quality kindergarten program looks like. The amount of learning taking place from just one interest area... the teacher being the co collaborator and the children leading the experience to satisfy their curiosity.. #reggioinspired #environmentasthirdteacher #queenslandkindergarten #stemeducation #magnetsarecool #scienceisfun #littlescientists #exceedingthestandard #centreofexcellence See more

20.01.2022 Wishing all our dads a wonderful Fathers Day on Sunday... we are missed our regular BBQ breakfast morning.. but hope that you enjoyed the coffee van and homemade treats lovingly mixed and baked by the children. We truly value the role our Dads and significant males play in the lives of our children. Involved fathers bring positive benefits to their children that no other person is likely to bring (Dr. Popenoe) We hope you have a chance to get together as a family on Sunday, play together, read a book, go on an adventure to the park, walk the dog together or just cuddle on the couch with a show... its the small moments of connection with your children that leave lasting memories. Happy Fathers Day 2020

20.01.2022 Our well established bamboo needed a little trim so we decided it was a fantastic opportunity to build a canopy of bamboo sticks and leaves.. we planned, discussed, collaborated, (Miss Merryl used a saw to refine our design ) and then we established that if we tied them all together with a wide base and narrower top it would be stable enough for us to crawl in and hide amongst the bushes! During the process we talked about bush shelters and how the Aboriginal people would have constructed shelters similar to this to help protect them from the weather and they would use these at various times of year. We know where we are going to spend our time today!!! #naidocweek2020 #naidocweek #kindergarten #collaborativelearning #childrenarecapableandconfidentlearners #reggioinspired #exceedingthestandard #centreofexcellence

20.01.2022 We had the most amazing visit from Kim (Alexs mum) this morning; she is so talented and plays in an orchestra.. we got to hear her play, learnt about the instruments she brought in and all about the different sound of musical notes. We even got to play some instruments ourselves... so cool! Watch her lovely playing in our stories!!! It was a very special experience and we love it when our Munchkins community come and share their expertise with us! #kindergarten #earlychildhoodeducation #earlylearning #earlychildhoodspecialists #musicissocool

19.01.2022 We have our December kindness project ready in our foyer (a little early.. but December is super busy !) it will be a collection for the AWL : they are looking for dog food; either dry or canned, to assist them with the anticipated influx of furry visitors to their shelter over the upcoming festive season. They prefer the brands of SUPERCOAT/PURINA for their furry friends. If you can, drop a small parcel into our basket and when it is full the children will venture out on th...e kindy bus and drop your donations off at the shelter. They are also asking for donations of toys for the animals too - they deserve to have some moments of joy during the festive season too. The AWL does such a wonderful job housing many neglected, dumped and abandoned animals; it’s a cause close to our hearts. #awlqld #kindnessmatters #kindnessproject #childrenarecapableandconfidentlearners #givingback #givingtreeproject See more

19.01.2022 We LOVE music at Munchkins and we get to celebrate it daily.. our Kindergarten children swapped out their engine room and made it into an impromptu concert stage... sharing their songs in the outdoor learning space with everyone. Our busy days are such fun in Kindy.. we learn to be together as a group, work with others, communicate our ideas, follow through on projects, invite others into our play and learn how to ask others to join in on their games.. all really important s...kills to be building as we head into the final terms before school.. if you are looking for an AMAZING kindergarten program for 2021, you cannot get any better than the programs we provide here at Munchkins. We are filling our classes for 2021, so make sure you drop by our foyer and make your booking with us. Better still if you havent been in before, drop by and meet our teaching teams; all highly qualified and experienced with decades of collective teaching experience! #kindergarten #wearethebest #ourteachersarethebest #musicinearlychildhood #musicintheearlyyears #beingbelongingbecoming #transitiontoschool #queenslandkindergarten See more

19.01.2022 I think we have a new crush here at Munchkins.. 10 cent Tom collected his first bin from us today and we had the opportunity to meet him and hear all about his journey into recycling. We have always been amazing eco warriors here at Munchkins.. well on our sustainability journey and to form an alliance with Tom and support him and his enterprise has been so special for us. The big blue bin is outside our front door and we encourage you to bring in all your recyclables for To...m’s bin. There are details as to what’s allowed and what’s not; so take a quick read and start joining us in our journey. Jump on our stories too.. there’s a special message recorded for our most avid recycler Nathan. Nathan joins us for our after school program and didn’t get a chance to meet Tom; but we told Tom all about Nathan and his love of recycling and looking after our amazing planet.. thanks Tom.. see you again soon when we fill this bin! @10ctom #recycling #ecowarriors #sustainabilitymatters #communitypartnerships #beingbecomingbelonging #exceedingexpectations #boutiqueearlylearning

19.01.2022 A beautiful moment captured between one of our early childhood specialists and their student.. our holistic approach to documentation means that our children can see, feel, touch and truly engage with their collated work .. it’s such a joyful experience for us when they recognise themselves and can relate to their learning stories, captured images and creative work; they can truly see their own progress as the year unfolds. These portfolios of work can be viewed by our famil...ies at any time and we welcome you to come and share in the experience with us ( they also go home with you at the end of the year as a forever keepsake) so many hours of our teachers time goes into putting these together for the children, we know you love and appreciate them and we will continue to capture their learning in this way. #documentation #learningstories #exceedingthestandard #centreofexcellence #earlychildhoodspecialists #earlylearning #earlychildhoodeducation #reggioinspired #reggioemiliaapproach See more

17.01.2022 Our team are an amazing collection of early childhood specialists who are always learning and gathering knowledge. Our centre promotes a positive organisational culture that supports a professional learning community. At work and outside in their own time, our team are encouraged to continue their own learning journey as early childhood is complex and challenging work. ... The team is fully supported by a full time educational leader who shares current research, readings, webinars, and engages in collaborative conversations about the many approaches to early childhood education ... all of this better supports a quality practice. Today our team revisited safe sleeping practices through an online course developed by Red Nose Australia.. ensuring that their own practices align with not only our centre policies and procedures but with those leading authorities in that space. #rednoseaustralia #acecqa #earlychildhoodeducation #earlychildhoodspecialists #professionaldevelopment

15.01.2022 Just what is science according to a 4year old? Their exposure to past experiences significantly influences a childs answer and we can tell you our children here at Munchkins have been exposed to science in many different ways over their years here with us. Science is mixing stuff up according to Miss H.. pouring water and soap and making snow according to Miss S .. its using a science glass and putting stuff in (she means a funnel) says Miss W.. its when u spray wa...ter at the sun and see a rainbow says Mr N Our children engaged in many complex activities over the course of the recently held Science Week. They drew on their prior knowledge of marble mazes to create a bamboo water chute.. tying bamboo channels at the correct angles to enable the water to flow from the top to the bottom.. they helped each other to tie on the channels with pipe cleaners and predicted the positioning of the buckets at the bottom of the channels to catch the water .. all sophisticated and complex tasks for 4year olds! They even worked out through trial and error the exact amount of water that should be poured each time to ensure it didnt splash, spill and overflow! AMAZING! Our travelling water experiment also brought a lot of the children to the interest table.. many having explored this concept before and sharing their prior knowledge of the outcomes with others..its going to put red and orange onto the paper towel says Miss S...it looks like a bridge..says Mr T... its sucking everything up.. said Miss L .. its changing to more colours as they get mixed up .. said Mr H.. all perfectly correct and spot on observations of the task and predicted outcomes. Science is fun, science is cool and science is for everyone! #nationalscienceweek2020 #scienceiscool #kidslovescience #childrenarecompetentandcapable #childrenarecuriousbynature See more

14.01.2022 Our passion with gardening continues with the emergence of spring and beautiful weather ready to support our seedlings. Our children are so industrious in the garden, getting stuck into jobs like watering, weeding, planting and tidying up ( yes they do tidy up after their work... hope they are doing this at home!)... the Kindergarten children are especially hands on with the market garden and really enjoy getting involved in the process. We are looking forward to raising the next generation of gardeners and sustainable consumers. #kidsinthegarden #sustainability #marketgarden #kidslovegardening #exceedingthestandard #centreofexcellence #boutiqueearlylearning #kindergarten #queenslandkindergarten

13.01.2022 And this is the slow motion video of how the magnets survived the centrifugal force of the fan rotation.. how cool is science!

13.01.2022 We are holding our September Playgroup Queensland morning playgroup meet up again in September - Wednesday 2nd at 9.30am Please tell all your family friends who may be looking for a quality playgroup, facilitated by early childhood teachers and held in a safe and secure environment. You dont have to be a member of our Munchkins community to attend, you may be looking at early learning for the first time, you may be a new resident to our wonderful community, or you may be at home with a new baby or toddler and looking for a lovely way to spend a morning with other families.. we welcome everyone! 12.01.2022 A few more snippets of our wonderfully capable creative and competent children embracing NAIDOC week and the cultural teachings being embraced this week. This generation is extremely lucky to be exposed to such wonderful knowledge about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture. #naidocweek #naidoc2020 #culturaldiversity #exceedingthestandard

12.01.2022 Out this morning and I saw so many prams covered tightly to protect the baby from the sun (great idea), yet the way the muslin covers were attached to the pram, the air circulation for the bub inside would have been minimal. With the hot weather now upon us, it is a timely reminder to ensure your baby has sufficient airflow inside the pram and to be aware that the temperature inside the pram will be significantly higher than outside the pram. Please ensure that you are regularly checking your baby, opening the back panels to allow sufficient airflow, seeking shade, and ensuring that you are only using the dedicated accessories that allow for correct ventilation - not pegged wraps or sheets that prohibit airflow. Great reminder shared from Parents 2 B Facebook page - share with your fellow new mums!

12.01.2022 Our annual dentist check ups for our Kindergarten children occurred this week. We facilitate both dental and optical (upcoming) check ups for our Kindy children before they head off to school. Visiting the dentist in a familiar environment, with their friends and teachers encouraging and supporting ensures a smooth and positive experience that sets the tone for future visits as the children get older. #wellbeing #communitypartnership #dental2you #kindergarten #earlylearning #exceedingthestandard

11.01.2022 Celebrating the wonderful learning that our children in the Tweenies (the in between, the not quite independent threes but beyond the toddler years) have been busy with lately. Our Tweenies are the youngest age group in our older play spaces.. moving over from our nursery and toddler centre is a big event for both children and families.. its often met with trepidation as the safety net feels like it is removed somewhat. Our teams are mindful of all the various elements... of the move and use the opportunity of our mixed age groupings to support, role model and mentor our little Tweenies through the transition. Being in a mixed age group at different times of the day has many benefits for the developmental outcomes for our younger children. Our older children often take on a mentoring role with our Tweenies; scaffolding their physical adventures and encouraging them in more complex adventures and paths. It also gives the children the opportunity to experiment with these normative roles, some children dont have younger siblings at home and take on a nurturing role with our Tweenies, taking them under their wing and showing them the roles that are played out in the big yard... all reflecting real life roles and dynamics. And while this complex interweaving of human dynamics is going on the main goal of ours... conversation... is taking place. Back and forth conversation, building literacy skills, literacy exposure and confidence with words! So much happens in our days!!! #weloveourjob #exceedingthestandard #learningthroughplay #beingbelongingbecoming #abecedarian #childrenareconfidentandinvolvedlearners #childrenarecapable #reggioinspired See more

10.01.2022 A reminder that we will be closed on Friday for the EKKA public holiday. Please chat with us in the centre if you are unsure about whether you need to attend for an initial assessment.

09.01.2022 Our sunflowers have really captured the Kindergarten childrens interest lately; we have investigated them in many different ways and have documented our findings in our floorbooks. We use our floorbooks as a documentation tool; they allow us to follow the lead of the children and intentionally plan based on their interests, voices, questions and further findings. We see our children as co-creators in their learning journey and this document belongs to them.. it is their thou...ghts... it is their words.. it is their work ...and it belongs to every child in the class. We call it a floorbook because it generally lives on the floor and the children come to it to contribute to it on the floor. You will often see our children from toddlers right through to kindergarten children lying around in a circle contributing to the book. It values shared thinking, it shows the children we value their thoughts, considerations, curiosities and experiences. Next time you are in, ask to see our floorbooks, wed love to share them with you all! #reggioemiliaapproach #reggioinspired #floorbooks #kindergarten #earlylearning #earlychildhoodeducation #exceedingthestandard #exceedingcentre #boutiqueearlylearning #weloveourjob See more

09.01.2022 As you all know, we are huge fans of Maggie Dent here at Munchkins - she has a great podcast on Spotify- jump on and follow if you are a podcast fan.. we talk often about how children can be 'roosters and lambs'; its a great way to understand your child and what they need. We often get comments from families that their children's temperaments are so different from each other.. some great tips here to support your parenting.

09.01.2022 Our hardworking chef Miss Michelle is celebrating her upcoming wedding with our excited team at Munchkins. With the challenges around travel some of her much loved family cannot be here to celebrate with her but we will make sure she has a special day! Happy upcoming wedding Miss Michelle!

09.01.2022 Children are naturally curious, inquisitive and full of questions about the world around them.. therefore exploring science and STEM teachings allow the children to learn and investigate while having fun! Our tweenies were looking at weather and clouds.. so an experiment about how the clouds hold the water or rain until they are too heavy was the perfect way to explain the process of precipitation in a visual and hands on way.. our young children are programmed to explore and... experiment from birth, we know this, we understand this and we celebrate this with our engaging classrooms, learning experiences and interactions with them. By tapping into these natural curiosities early on we can ensure our children who pass through our doors are natural learners, wanting to know more about the why, what and how of their world. Look at the joy on their faces and the focus and intention in their learning.. science is fun and we just LOVE all things science! #scienceweek2020 #cloudexperiment #scienceiscool #scienceisfun #childrenarecapableandconfidentlearners #childrenarecurious #exceedingthestandard #beingbelongingbecoming #earlychildhoodeducation #earlylearning See more

08.01.2022 Our toddler children have been interested in the garden lately and collecting seed pods has been a favourite activity! Our small world tray was used to introduce a wide variety of textures, senses and messy play experiences into our outdoor space. The children were invited to add to the tray from their garden.. we were present, observing what they chose and contributed, recognising the individuality of the children.... getting messy with the sand and water was also fun! 08.01.2022 Our Tweenies spent time creating their own resources to acknowledge and contribute to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Childrens Day this week, they created a set of handmade story stones which they will use to build their own unique stories and they will become a great teaching tool with the children. Just look at their wonderful focus and concentration..their dedication to their task and ability to manipulate the tools for the activity.. so amazing! #reggioemiliaapproach #aboriginalandtorresstraitislander #respect #culturaldiversity #agency

07.01.2022 We celebrated Floral Friday today as the culmination event held during NAIDOC week 2020. Floral Friday is traditionally held on a Friday every week in the Torres Strait Islands. Everyone in the Torres Strait wears floral across every island. It can be as simple as wearing a flower in their hair or wearing a floral shirt or even wearing their floral uniform to school on a Friday... we will continue to recognise and celebrate TSI culture in the upcoming months and we look forward to floral Friday’s becoming a regular on our centre calendar. #floralfriday #culturalinclusions #connecting2culture #embeddingtorresstraitislanderperspectives #floralfridaychallenge #NAIDOC2020 #NAIDOCChalleng

05.01.2022 We love our shared meal times.. its a time where we can be together, sit, take a moment and grow our developing sense of agency. The United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child believes that all children have a right to be active participants in their lives.. with a sense of agency, our children can make choices and decisions about their day and what their day means to them. Our young tweenies are developing not only their fine motor skills by spreading their own mo...rning tea sandwiches, they are making their own choice of fillings and sharing their experience with their friends; some helping each other out. 03.01.2022 This is a spontaneous drop into one of our Kindergarten spaces and what our learning in Kindergarten looks like.. no invitation for a special visit.. nothing put on for the camera.. just a quick scan of busy, interested, curious and engaged learners. Our children are taught to love learning from an early age.. here in this quick snippet; we have our ELLA( Spanish language) program bring explored, some independent pre writing taking place, clay projects being relaunched from... earlier in the week, a tea party in dramatic play area, book making with our teacher Merryl, construction and road building in the building space, puzzles being chosen and put together and a team building with Leggo! All the children exploring something a little different, engaging in their own interests, being closely observed, documented and scaffolded... and notice the calm, conversation and relationships!!! 02.01.2022 Letting a child engage with nature ensures they feel a connection with their world Our Tweenies engaged in a nature hunt, the weather is stunning, the temperatures are just wonderful at this time of year, so we took our Tweenies intentional teaching outside into the garden. The were asked to collect items of nature that they could use later at our art space... the children took to this task with determination and focus; collecting a wide variety of natural items that cultiv...ated a sense of belonging to their land and established a sense of space. Each child had the time and focus to create a unique piece of art work that represented their creativity... again reaffirming our belief that children are creative and competent individuals! #reggioemiliaapproach #reggioinspired #natureplay #beingbelongingbecoming #intentionalteaching #exceedingthestandard See more

02.01.2022 Identity is a strong foundation for childrens social and emotional development as well as their sense of agency. Our children have been curious about what is beyond the wall and have been depicting their community and knowledge of the wider world through their play. A Humans World collaborative project was born and the children have been exploring all elements of their world in a variety of ways that has meaning to them. Theres cars, buildings and humans...they ...have to drive their cars to the city...you need a flying car to go to the city...its a place where dads and sons hold hands...you need concrete for the driveways... Just some of the conversation captured whilst they firstly explored blocks and construction. The children then moved onto clay and wanted to represent various styles of housing through this media. We logged on and researched what housing looked like across the world. We discovered castles, teepee tents and igloos..all then represented by the children.. just look at the detail! We will let the children continue to explore this concept if it continues to interest them tomorrow.. ready to relaunch again at any time. Just another shining example of how competent, capable and creative our children are. We celebrate this in all of our educational programs across our centre; it forms the foundation upon which our centre culture and philosophy is built. #childrenarecompetentandcapable #childrenarecreative #connectingwithourworld #beingbelongingbecoming #reggioinspired #exceedingthestandard #learningthroughplay #kindergarten See more

02.01.2022 Our Kindness Angels are nearly ready to make their appearance at Munchkins.. we have been talking about our upcoming collaborative project and the purpose behind it with our children; some of our Kindergarten children wanted to make their own angels and share the program at home.. they used clay and loose craft items to create their angels and they have hung them on their tree in the room awaiting home time. Learning to be caring and kind is like learning to play a sport or ...musical instrument... it needs to be practiced daily with young children to make it second nature and to develop those skills for caregiving capacities. Building the ‘kindness’ capacity of our children and building their sense of agency to be confident in being kind is the foundation of our program. #kindnessangels #beingkind #childrenarecompetentandcapable #exceedingthestandard #kindergartenclassroom #kindergarten #beingbelongingbecoming See more
