17.01.2022 Had a visit from Gayndah Blue Care this morning. We made Sausages and Rissoles with Kelly and Steven. Carer David (an old employee) showed them how to tie Sausages.

15.01.2022 We are very pleased to share the results from the state Sausage King competition held at the Brisbane exhibition today. We are the state Sausage King in the lamb category with our pumpkin, feta and shallot flavoured lamb sausage. We are off to Tasmania to represent QLD at the National finals in February 2017. We also received 3rd place in the traditional Australian beef sausage. We are so pleased with these results and very proud of our team.



11.01.2022 We have arrived in Tasmania for the National Sausage King Competition. Here is Tim carrying our sausages. Judging is tomorrow and the National winner will be announced at dinner.

07.01.2022 So proud of this team and the results at the Wide Bay Sausage King held in Bundaberg on Sunday. We won two divisions; Traditional Beef Sausage and the Lamb category with our Pumpkin, Feta and Shallot. We now qualify for the State Championship in Brisbane in August.

05.01.2022 The guys have a great selection in the display cabinet this morning. Crumbed or Seasoned Lamb Cutlets, Seasoned Rack of Lamb, Pork Cutlets, Fillet Mignon and Beef Parcels filled with Asparagus and Cheese. Also flavoured Sausages for this week include Sweet Chilli Red Pepper, Caramelised Onion and Mozzarella, Nacho Cheese, Pork Blueberry and Maple, also Pork, Apricot and Dijon Mustard.

05.01.2022 Freshly made flavoured Sausages for this week include Lamb, Pumpkin, Feta and Shallot, Caramelised Onion and Mozzarella, Pork Blueberry and Maple, Chicken Cheese and Cracked Pepper, Chicken Cheese and Baby Spinach and Chicken, Honey and Macadamia. We also currently have a position vacant for a Butcher/ Slaughterman to join our team.

02.01.2022 The 2017 regional Sausage King was held at the Maryborough Relish Festival on 3rd June. We won Sausage King in 3 categories, Beef, Lamb with our cracked pepper and Worcestershire and Continental with our cheesy Bratwurst. We also placed second in the Lamb with wholegrain mustard and honey. We now qualify for the State Sausage King in the 3 categories to be held at Brisbane Ekka in August. We are very proud of our team.

02.01.2022 Creek to Coast visited the shop last week for an upcoming story to be aired on October 21. It was a fun afternoon with Scott Hillier having a go at tying sausages.
