24.01.2022 After ten years of living and breathing camping, it is now time for us to pass the baton and announce that we have sold Murphy’s Creek Escape. Whether you have ...had multiple visits with us or only one, we would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your patronage, friendship, encouragement, advice and feedback. Many of you have created treasured traditions and memories of times had here at MCE, many, I am sure, that will become legendry as time passes. Myself, Peter, Holly and Zac, too, have treasured memories that will forever remain with us; The early days of setting up, the green grass (it was a long time ago), the frogs and the toads, the generosity of people during the 2011 floods, helicopters flying in supplies, generators, the smell of camp fires, the beauty of the sunsets reflecting across the, building luxury tents (it felt like a ‘Block’ reveal), hanging from the flying fox, cupcakes, craft, an archery bulls eye, kids on bikes, ANZAC ceremonies, Christmas in July, Santa arriving in the fire truck, the trail of children following Easter bunny, Camping for Cancer, water flowing in the creek (yes it did happen!) the memories are endless. To the staff, both current and past; we thank you for your commitment, time and collaborative efforts. It has never gone unnoticed nor unappreciated. Special mention must be given to Steve, aka The Silver Fox. His contributions have been invaluable. To the new owners; Alberta, Ari, Finn and Ivy, we sincerely wish you all the best and put our faith in you that Murphy’s Creek Escape, Murphy’s Creek Hideaway and Murphy’s Creek Adventures will thrive and continue to grow. A new chapter for all begins Sincerely Lisa, Peter, Holly and Zac.

21.01.2022 Just letting you all know I will be closing this Facebook group and removing the Murphy’s Creek Adventures website in the near future. I have decided to streamline the Facebook pages and websites as it is difficult to maintain all three and the Adventures one is the most neglected sadly. Anything related to adventure activities and school camps can now be found on our Murphy’s Creek Escape webpage and Facebook page.

13.01.2022 Many thanks to Nick from Hutchinson Builders for bringing the GC Titans to Murphys Creek Escape. Thank you to our instructors Luke Quilter & Seth Brumpton for guiding the boys off the abseiling tower, also a massive thank you to Kristi our cook and Phil from The Spotted Cow for feeding the boys. It has been our absolute pleasure to be part of the Titans visit to the region and we look forward to continuing and building these new relationships into the future. 09.01.2022 Hi everyone. I am the new owner of Murphy’s Creek Escape, Murphy’s Creek Adventures and Murphy’s Creek Hideaway. Owning a camping ground has been a long term goal of mine. To finally have achieved this through the purchase of this beautiful spot, is beyond exciting! We will continue to operate in a manner similar to Peter and Lisa, offering adventure activities and engaging school holiday and long weekend programs. Of course, luxury glamping, powered, non powered and remote... sites will continue to be on offer to enable you to get back to nature in a way that best suits you. We are also very excited to continue offering school camps based on active outdoor education. My family (Ari, Finn and Ivy) and I, look forward to welcoming you, and building relationships and memories with you, on your next visit. Regards Alberta
