21.01.2022 Due to unforeseen circumstances, The truck as the outdoor stage is unable to attend. Cancelling or rescheduling tomorrow at this time is not an option. Various outdoor staging alternatives have been explored but with the lateness of the news, the only viable and safe solution is to put the bands on the stage inside the Hall. The Murrah Committee ask for your cooperation and understanding - given current social distancing guidelines.... Anyone who is inside the Hall must wear a mask. We have some but if you could bring your own it would be greatly appreciated. In one way it's a step back to (masked) indoor normality. And ironic, given that SOT's new single is entitled, Take Off Your Mask And Love Me tonight. So Murrah. Only at the Murrah. So, bring the mask (and a chair if needed) and get ready to party. 19.01.2022 Good morning everyone, here we go for round 3 of our Sunday November #GreatSouthernNights shows. Gates open at 1:30pm for a 2pm kick off. Looks like we’re going to just dodge the rain today! That said, come prepared. Bring your wet weather gear. We’ll have some shelter set up and we’ll be able to have limited numbers sheltering in the hall, but if we do get significant rain, your car might be the best bet. We’ll pause the show until it passes. But that’s not going to happen, ...is it? This show looks set to sell out, so if you do want to come, buy a ticket here. It is with regret to inform you that Tony King of Beautifully Mad woke up early this morning with an infected throat and fever, barely able to speak. 05.01.2022 Hi A big thank you to all who attended the March 7 and May 9 free entry, food and music shows here at the Hall, displaying your usual consideration and enthusiasm in sold-out numbers. As President and occasional grant writer, it continues to be both a pleasure and honour to serve our amazing communities by being able to create, this time, a no-strings time-out cultural and social community experience for all. It's what we deserve. And need. And will continue to need.... Personally, it was so wonderful to witness the interactions of friends, families, the kids, the BBQ, and last Sunday: the Hall, the gathering around our fire, the dancing and the amazing music with a smile and the only continuing thought in my head: "This is why we do what we do." Nothing happens in a vacuum. Gratitude and acknowledgement are important. These shows could not have happened without the funding from Coordinaire and BVSC Bushfire Recovery.: Thank you for saying, "yes". On behalf of all our audiences, we all say, "Thank You". Being able to connect, eat and dance together is so healing. We may be individuals but we are still herd animals as COVID has so cogently reminded us.
