20.01.2022 We are over the moon with the results from the sale at the Top Of The Range Murray Greys Annual Event. This years Youth heifer, Benview Bella Q4 topped the female portion at $5000 and has sold to QLD. Congratulations to Kay Bell of Del-Gowrie. We hope you enjoy your new heifer and hope she travels well. Thank to Benview Murray Greys owners Aimee Bendottiand son Jensen for donating such a top notch heifer, the youth can’t thank you enough for your support this year. 08.01.2022 The Murray Grey Society and Charolais Society of Australia advise Vision 2020, the combined youth shows scheduled for April have been postponed until further notice. The Societies have taken on board the current Covid19 environment and after careful evaluation decided proceeding with the event is not a viable option at this time. Taking the current framework our government and health officials are advocating we feel this postponement is the responsible course of action. We understand this is disappointing for the entrants and the Societies remain committed to hosting this event in the future. When we have clarity on the Covid 19 status here in Australia a new date will be set to proceed with this exciting venture for both Societies. This date is most likely to be in Spring after Melbourne Royal.

01.01.2022 First week in NZ done and dusted, firstly flying in for the Canterbury Show where Josh judged primarily the Murray Grey cattle and took part in the interbreed j...udging. Pleasing to see a good turn out of cattle across all breeds considering the Bovis disease which has severely affected the cattle industry in NZ, especially last years show numbers. I was able to take in and further my understanding of how New Zealand cattle are prepared and showed and it was a fantastic intro to my trip to see such a well run show that was full of agricultural aspects for all to enjoy, I was also lucky enough to place in the senior junior judging and catch up with past Murray Grey Australian exchange winners. I’ve Managed to whack in a few tourist stops on way to stay with Silver Fern Murray Greys (Chris, Carolyn and Brad McIntosh) and Torrisdale Murray Greys (Barry MacDonald). I was lucky enough to be toured around there fantastic operations showcasing such a strong line of Murray Grey animals that any Murray Grey breeder would be proud to have within there herd. Thank you to both studs for such fantastic hospitality and strong friendships built within this much appreciated opportunity. See more
