24.01.2022 Just water tested a Stacer 449 crossfire + Yamaha f75. 69kph @ 5700 rpm. With a GP series 17 pitch prop.

21.01.2022 We just got on water the Boss’s Stacer 619 wild rider + Yamaha F200xca + Helm master EX We are a little under proped with a 17 pitch saltwater series sds prop as our starting point. 82kph at limiter with a few bars of trim to go. See how we go when we get our hands on a 18!!!

20.01.2022 Wednesday water test! What a way to get through hump day! Stacer 429 Outlaw SC with a Yamaha F70 (re rated with KPS maritime). With a Yamaha 16 alloy GP series prop 6200 RPM and 67 KPH

19.01.2022 Check out this Stacer 429S Proline Anger with a Yamaha F50LB side console and Telwater light alloy trailer. With a Yamaha 12 pitch prop we saw 6100 rpm (limiter at 4/5 trim) and 57kph with 1 person on board. Sorry this boat is sold but I have another 1 in stock!

18.01.2022 We just water tested a Stacer 429 outlaw ts set up as side console with a Yamaha F50. It span the 12 pitch Yamaha alloy prop to 6100 rpm and 55kph. Lots of activity on the water with school holidays and this marvellous weather!

16.01.2022 We just repowered this Stessl 4.3 edge tracker with a 4 stroke Yamaha F40. Upgrading from a 2 stroke now this boat won’t be heard as well as seen! On another note water levels are visibly up from where they were when we were last on the water Wednesday last week.

14.01.2022 Bit of a windy water test (It looks better than it was!) Stacer 429 outlaw ts re done to side console re rated to 60hp with a Yamaha T60. We did 5900 rpm and 58kph. Was a little on the low side re engine mounting to suit the customers use of the boat.... We re tested the next day up 1 bolt hole setting and found manageable turning at lower speeds and higher speeds at limited trim and found 6100 rpm and 61kph. From dry fitting we thought this would be too high. It shows 2 boats of the same model can perform completely different on the water re height setting.

12.01.2022 Another water test! Stacer 429 Seamaster with a Yamaha T60LB. We started at 2nd to top hole with a 15 pitch Yamaha gp series alloy prop. We found it hard to find cavitation so we re tested up at the top bolt hole and found a better all round height setting. RPM wise 6100 rpm (found limiter just before full trim) and just over 60kph. I’m really itching to try this boat with a 16 pitch GP prop but it’s on backorder atm. We re tested with a Solas 15 pitch alloy prop (because it was on hand) (they tend to be slightly higher loads than the Yamaha GP series) but lost too much RPM (5700 rpm) and had no speed gains. The customer will be operating both loaded and unloaded use and is unlikely to change props between use so very happy with the Yamaha alloy 15 pitch GP series prop selection.

09.01.2022 We water tested this Stacer 449 cross fire + Yamaha VF90 (boat was re rated to 90hp by KPS). We started with a Yamaha alloy GP series 17 pitch (because 18 pitch were on back order) and that reached rev limiter at 1/3 trim. We then tried a Solas 17 pitch alloy (because it was in stock) and achieved similar results! So the then we tried the Yamaha s/s talon series sds 18 pitch and found rev limiter at 3/4 trim and 72.5 kph. We ran out of time so we will re test tomorrow with a Yamaha s/s GP series 19 and 20 pitch to see what max speed we can find! Any excuse for a water test especially on days like today! Stay tuned!!! Re tested again with the 20 pitch Yamaha GP series sds s/s prop. 6100 rpm just touching rev limiter (with 1 person rather than 2 in the tests yesterday) and 79.5kph! FAST!

04.01.2022 We got to re water test our customer’s Stacer 449 Crossfire wity a Yamaha F75 with a 16 pitch Yamaha GP series sds alloy prop. Last test was with a 17 pitch @ 5700 rpm and 69kph. This test with 1 less person (aprox 100kgs) and a 16 pitch prop we span 6000 rpm and just touched 69kph. Noticeable improvement to hole shot performance.

01.01.2022 We just water tested a Haines Hunter V17L with a Yamaha F130. 77kph @ 6300 rpm WOT, Yamaha SDS 18 pitch stainless prop. We retested with a Yamaha SDS 19 pitch stainless prop. We saw 6100 rpm and 80kph +. There was still a little trim remaining but with the busy holiday water traffic we didn’t push it all the way!
