12.01.2022 We handmade this solid Victorian Ash hardwood stair for Snowden Homes in Mildura recently. Although it appears to be a pretty simple straight staircase, we have set our posts in position in order to create load bearing points for the upper level of the house eliminating the wall that previously stood there whilst retaining a nice modern clean look below the stair once a raked wall is built back in beneath. We will be back to fit a cool little dimished section of handrail with wrought iron balustrade once the plaster is complete.

04.01.2022 On arriving at my destination in the float last night (Burrows Rd level crossing, Wangaratta), I was greeted by a resident from an adjacent property. The bearde...d gentleman had two stubbies of coopers pale ale and insisted they were mine to take home. When asking why, he explained that he and his neighbours were extremely appreciative of the way in which we (the guys in those TENEX vehicles) keep the dust down by driving slow and respecting their quiet neighbourhood whilst going about our business. He claims to have observed my previous visits and that my truck driving efforts were worthy of a cold beer to express his thanks. Thanks old mate, I just didn’t wanna get my wheels dirty haha! 01.01.2022 Loving these classic open rise stairs. Makes the whole room/house seem much more spacious. This one will get some neat glass balustrade capped off nicely with some of our round handrail groved to sit perfectly on top. Solid Victorian Ash hardwood recently made and installed right here in Mildura!
