15.12.2021 HUGE shout out to this beautiful human, Joanne Smith. Jo first started coaching with me at the start of February this year. She has been doing my online coa...ching program plus I train her once a week in the gym (apart from lockdowns of course). She originally came to me just wanting some help to change her body shape and take her to the next level as she has been training in the gym for many years but said she's never really been able to achieve the body she has always dreamed of. With no interest in getting on stage at that point, as she was quite shy and not very confident, but said she was fascinated with the process and wanted me to coach her as if she was going to compete. Initially we had to work around a few injuries and niggles (nothing major) then it was time to undo how she has always trained, and introduce her to much more structured, functional bodybuilding and conditioning type of training, along with the beginnings of nutritional education and tracking macros according to her goal. At around 8 weeks in and 2 programs down, her body had already starting changing shape and firming up some of those target areas, that's when Jo came to me and said "I think I want to compete!" So there the journey continues, now Jo is getting closer to her first comp at the end of September, we still have some work to do, but she is determined and is absolutely loving the journey!!! Keep going Jo, I am so proud of how far you have come, not just with your training and changing your body, but mentally as well....you are blossoming! Don't take your foot off the pedal just yet, in fact the opposite...lets smash the last 8 weeks, 100% all in, give it everything you've got and your body will reward you, and you will see how much strength is within!
