16.01.2022 #TahuneAirwalk Tahune Airwalk is located approximately 70 kilometres south of Hobart. The treetop walk overlooks the Huon and Picton Rivers joining in the far distance. The Tahune Airwalk site offers three walks onsite plus the Cable Eagle Hang Gliding. The footbridge is a level steel structure with a steel walkway that is suspended over the treetops, as high as 50 metres in places. The footbridge is 620 metres long, with 1.6 kilometres of access paths to the bridge and 112 s...teps to climb to the peak. Tahune Airwalk was severely destroyed in 2019 bush fires. It took more than a year to recover from the damage. Tahune has been reopened from 1Mar20 with limited services. You can support Tahune Airwalk by visiting and bringing your family and friends here.
