03.01.2022 My how things have changed. Back in 1917 I fellow brother was killed during action in World War I. The lodge in which he was a member was so impressed with his ...honour and Vella that they wished to express their consolation to his parents. We have just received this beautiful illuminated document where Lodge Waratah No. 166 of the United Grand Lodge of NSW & ACT had this document created to send to Mr and Mrs Clark expressing their esteem and sympathy at the death of Brother Joseph H Clarke. This document is beautifully bound in a tooled leather binder. We rarely see such expressions in this day and age.
