06.01.2022 Here is another personality who struck up an accord with Johno. He may have given Johno his hat, I can’t quite remember. JW appeared at Johnos Blues Bar in Cair...ns , with a nine piece band from Chicago. Man that was expensive.! This song brought the house down, and became one of Johnos must do songs at every performance. He even retained that one, two, you know what to do! Johno used to sing it, referring to John Watsons nephew Joely, who became Johnos drummer at the age of 16. Johno recently remarked to me that he was sad that although the shows were sold out, hardly any Cairns musos turned up to witness Junior’s incredible shows. See more
