In the early hours of Saturday morning she sadly left our world.. Many thanks to Sharlene for everything! Dear Zali you will never be forgotten. Fly high now Our hearts here at HQ are broken ... 10.01.2022 Pupdate pupdate Just a reminder that we will be open tomorrow for those that fall into the categories below. Opening hours will be Tuesdays 8am - 5.30pm ... Hi Pawrents, It’s been a very confusing week for those who operate Doggy Daycare facilities. I had tried calling DHHS last week, I was unable to get through due to the high demand. So after seeing positive updates from a few centres, I decided that we would continue our 2 days per week. Unfortunately for us, some lovely person contacted the police and reported us for breaking Stage 4 restrictions and the police paid us a visit yesterday, the boys in blue were lovely, I explained the processes that we followed & they were happy with that. So this morning I tried calling DHHS again and was provided with the message to call Business Victoria. I spoke with a very nice person & explained the situation, I asked if we were allowed to operate at all. After speaking with his supervisors, I was told that if the pawrents had a working permit & no one could provide adequate care, the pawkids were able to attend daycare. This also applies to pawkids that have anxiety ( vet certificate), pawrents that have medical issues that prevents them from being able to provide adequate exercise & stimulation and can provide a doctors certificate. Emergency care is also allowed. Boarding would operate as per normal if required. Our safety plan remains a it was It is what it is. This awful pandemic has impacted negatively on the majority of us. 03.01.2022 Bodie is still receiving specialist care, Hydrotherapy & Myotherapy weekly@ a cost of $150. It’s been so very hard during this pandemic as finances are very tight, and Bodies therapy is a priority to regain full use of his leg. If you can spare a price of a coffee, Bodie will love you forever. We both understand it’s tough for everyone and we’ve appreciated all donations so far. Please share
