11.01.2022 Did you know we also provide building maintenance and building modification services to aged residents and those with disabilities in our community? It's a big part of helping our clients remain independent and living in their homes as long as possible. Ned and Richard from our Building Maintenance Department recently completed the deck pictured for one of our many maintenance clients. Ned explains: The old deck was a train wreck, and was also very unsafe. It was decided to r...eplace it as economically as we could, so the sub-floor and decking was new, but we retained the balustrading to save the client a considerable amount of money, which she was very pleased with, and also noted that The build quality was excellent. 04.01.2022 The social services we provide go beyond just transport to a medical appointment or the shops. Sometimes the volunteer could be the only person an elderly client sees for a few days, so it's a connection to the community, the human touch and it's very important for the mental and physical health of the people that are ageing in place in their own homes.
