22.01.2022 This is a very interesting read about the number of Financial Planners leaving the Industry as a result of the changing Compliance regulation post the royal commission. 6,000 planners in the last 12 months. With the major licences dramatically increasing licensee fees and Professional Indemnity Insurance shy rocketing, the end result will be that Financial Planning costs will increase forcing even more Financial Planners to leave the Industry. The general tenure for a Salaried Planner (working for someone else) according to market research is a bout 2.4 years. The best career move I have made hands down is moving away from building someone's else’s business to building my own business.

10.01.2022 This really resonates with me. As a financial planner and mortgage broker, building long term relationships with our clients are paramount. We are not a transactional based business. I had a very humbling experience with some clients that contacted me after 10 years wanitng us to get them ready for retirement. It was truely gratifying that they trusted us to handle their retirement planning arrangements. This really resonates with me.

I’m incredibly proud to be apart of a very smart and supportive networking group of like minded individuals supporting each other’s business and value proporstions. One of the best decisions I’ve made to join BNI Greater Springfield group . Early this year, I started making decisions and movements towards creating my own Financial Advice and Wealth coaching... Business after spending years of frustration being exploited by other companies and individuals. The BNI group has been a fundamental contributor to assisting me with these steps in moving away from being expolited with both my time and financially to allowing me to have the flexibility and control over the outcomes that I want to achieve in helping me grow my business, whilst providing the balance in spending time with what matters most to me, my family.
