17.01.2022 Exciting news! Myall Medical Practice is now live with a new online portal called Automed. This system will help us to improve the way we interact and communicate with you as a registered patient of the practice. Patients can now book online via a new app called AMS Connect, available for download from the App Store. Alternatively you can visit our website at www.myallmed.com.au and click on the link to ‘Book an Appointment’ (red apple icon).... SMS messages are in the process of going out to registered patients from today to announce the launch. The message will also contain direct links to download the app. The introduction of this system will replace the use of Appointuit for the purpose of booking online appointments. With improved communication capabilities you may receive SMS reminders from us from time to time for upcoming appointments, reviews, assessments or reviewed test results. If you do not wish to receive some,or all, of these reminder types, patients will have the opportunity to ‘opt out’. This places you, as the patient, in complete control of the communication you wish to receive from our Practice via this method. With the introduction of Automed we will also be equipped to provide telehealth consultations (encrypted live video link) direct to your mobile device. Please note, a quality internet connection will be required to support this option. We hope to have this service up and running by the week beginning 31st August. Telehealth Appointments can be booked online, via the app or by contacting the reception team. This appointment type will not be available with all GP’s initially but we hope to expand this offering in the future. As can happen with the introduction of any new software, it’s possible we may experience some glitches and challenges in our initial roll-out so we ask for your patience and support to see this a success. At Myall Medical Practice we are committed to continually improving the way we do business and we hope you enjoy the new patient experience with the introduction of Automed into our practice.

15.01.2022 Today we welcome Dr Shahid Waheed for a 2 week locum placement at Myall Medical Practice (9th Nov to 20th Nov 2020). Dr Waheed is a fellowed GP of the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine with prior experience working in Dalby. Appointment bookings are now available between 9am and 5pm.
