These are some of Qlds most in-demand apprenticeships, offering industry-leading training with safety and customers at the heart of all we do. Therell be 86 new starters joining Energex and Ergon in February 2021. Energex apprenticeships will be offered at Berrinba, Burleigh Heads, Caboolture, Cooroy, Gatton, Geebung, Greenslopes, Kelvin Grove, Landsborough, Raceview, Southport and Staplyton. The only age requirement is to be at least 17 when you start. Theres no upper limit. 2. You need to have completed Yr12 and passed senior maths A or general maths and English (a science subject is also very handy ) OR completed equivalent pre-vocational studies (which might include a Cert II in Electrotechnology) OR have relevant work experience 3. We cant take applications from current apprentices registered with an RTO, but we can consider applications from apprentices who have been made redundant 4. Sorry, we dont offer school-based apprenticeships or traineeships 5. All roles and locations are on the Energex (and Ergon!) websites. If a locations not listed, its because nothing is available this year. 6. Best way to make your application stand out is to be really thorough and detailed 7. You need to apply for a particular role at a particular location you cant nominate multiple locations 8. To help those who are shortlisted, well be sharing some useful pre-assessment tests and links on our website in September 9. Successful candidates need to be able to start in Feb 2021 10.
