22.01.2022 Mycelium Studios resident Monkey Marc has released a music video for his song Rebel Code! Feat BLVK H3RO Turbulence Big Lion Yeza & Mista Savona... Check it out here >> https://youtu.be/cU4P4r2zY8o My new album VITAL SOUND is here!! This is my soundtrack to the global uprising for renegades around the planet. I delved deep into the revolutionary roots of reggae and hip hop, and brought the bass heavy beats I love with an incredible army of legendary Jamaican and UK artists. This is by far the biggest project I have put together in my career so far. 4 Years in the making between my solar powered recording studio and the recording studios of Kingston, Jamaica. You can listen here: https://monkeymarc.bandcamp.com/album/vital-sound

02.01.2022 Who's happy to be out of lockdown in Melbourne?!! My shipping container studio has been closed and out of action for the last 112 days. But today is a new day a...nd I’m super happy as the gates have been opened and I can fire up the furnaces again and get the music pumping. I've packed up my bedroom studio, brought all the audio gear back to my shipping container at Mycelium Studios and spent 2 days re-connecting all the wires and plugging everything back in. I've still got my lockdown sleeping set up on the couch but will get my bed set up again soon... The Monkey Solar Studio is back in action! Watch out for Vital Sound dropping in 2 weeks https://monkeymarc.bandcamp.com/ Photo: Melbourne Minute

01.01.2022 During this important week, Naidoc 2020, Mycelium Studios wishes to thank our First Nations Brothers and Sisters. We pay our deep respects to the Traditional Owners of the land upon which we stand, Wurundjeri Country and to the Traditional Owners of all of the countries that spread across this beautiful island nation that many more of us now call home. We thank you with deep respect and acknowledgment of the pain and suffering that you have endured. We acknowledge all you hav...e had to fight for and continue to fight for. The daily struggles you continue to experience from the ongoing and deeply traumatic effects of colonisation. Thank you for your awe-inspiring resilience and for not giving up in the face of such adversity. Thank you for continuing to connect with your beautiful, ancient, living culture. To all the ancestors of this land, thank you for taking care of country and culture since time immemorial. We strive to continue to hear your voices as we walk these lands. We bow down in heartfelt gratitude for the gifts First Nations people continue to offer this nation. We hope that in our lifetime, and the lifetimes of our children and our children’s children, our country can truly reconcile with its black history, to acknowledge with open eyes the deep pain that runs through the shadows of this country’s violent past and to celebrate the incredible spirit, power and contributions of our First Nations people. Always Was, Always Will Be. Mycelium wishes to highlight the incredible achievements of First Nations designers in this years The Design Files + Laminex Design Awards The Design Files .
