11.01.2022 DIATOMACEOUS EARTH.................................I have been using diatomaceous earth for approximately four years......And WOW......What an amazing, versat...ile powder direct from nature it is......Phenomenal...:)....Diatomaceous Earth removes toxins and heavy metals...It deals with a vast range of toxic compounds getting into our system such as bacterias, parasites, fungi, protozoa, viruses, endotoxins, pesticides, chemical drug residue, E.Coli, Heavy metals,eg. methyl mercury, aluminium, fluoride, proteinaceous toxins generated by some gastro intestinal infections.....Diatomaceous Earth carries a negative ion charge......Heavy Metals/toxins, carry a positive ion charge..... The silica within DE acts like a magnet..It is semi conductive...............Not only for internal human cleansing/detoxing but animals as well..........A Nutritious supplement par excellence........... I have available 1kg Bags of fine food grade diatomaceous earth.......In upcoming posts I shall inform everyone of the myriad uses of Diatomaceous Earth....The picture guides on the packaging bags are an indication of the many uses....hopefully clear enough to be seen...:)..But..apart from the above internal human consumption use...... think natural pesticide for all garden bugs and pests, deodorant,.... garden soil nutrition, .to name a few.....Message Me...<3....@ That Organic Woman -Earth Medicine......@Elizabeth Sturgess-Myers See more

02.01.2022 Everything is as it should be! We do not appreciate light until we experience the dark, We do not appreciate smooth until we experience the rough, We do not app...reciate respect until we experience disdain, We do not appreciate courage until we experience fear, We do not appreciate freedom until we experience restriction, We do not appreciate love until we experience indifference! For every experience we can draw strength from its opposite! Taoist view of life!

02.01.2022 ROSEHIPS.....Been a while since I've posted..... I've been busy in the garden with many and varied tasks....... So ....in relation to Covid 19..I have heard alo...ng the grapevine that sources of processed, manufactured VitC powders , tablets etc have been a tad hard to find.... especially the excellent quality ones.which are also the priciest....Vit C is a standard commonly known nutrient required daily in one's diet...and more so higher doses during stress circumstances, infections within the body, . and especially if one is a smoker..as smoking destroys whatever Vit C is circulating in the body........ If one saturates the body during any infection crisis...the duration of such an infection is decreased dramatically....Think Vit C for colds...and winter aches and pains....arthritis etc....It is always advisable and optimum to obtain our nutrients from food sources . Vitamins and minerals always are at their best when combined with their 'mates'... as in plants, mother nature always provides the checks and balances with other nutrients...Vitamins and minerals can be effective singularly in a processed product but only minimally....and I won't cover the Natural v's Synthetic in this post... but just to be aware that cheaper vitamin alternatives are often synthetically aka laboratory made.... ... So this post is on Rosehips... Dog Rose Of The Wild Forces....... Rosehips are just that.... the hip after flowering of the Dog Rose..... The Herbal Kingdoms richest source of Vitamin C...... Two species of Dog rose that I am aware of ..Rosa canina and Rosa rubiginosa found here in Australia....'Rosa canina is what I have growing randomly in my garden in various areas... It can become invasive.... but when you harvest the rosehips... one simply cuts and chops down the bushes as you collect the rose hips,. to two feet high.... Gloves always recommended. They will regrow exponentially .... Lay out the hips in a tray/s for approx two weeks to dry covered with paper towelling or tea-towel to keep flies off.... Can be washed roughly if one desires...I dry mine inside the house.... Then jar up accordingly.......I will place anywhere up to fifty rosehips in a large glass teapot..fresh picked or dried.. fill with approx one and a half litres of boiled water , and place on an open gas flame very low, to just under boiling, slowly for between 5- 10 minutes...Pour into a cup using a tea strainer. and sweeten with raw pure honey or organic green powdered stevia .if one likes sweet.... and lemon juice from one organic lemon ..preferably......Milks do not belong with traditional herb tea drinking...nor does processed sugars................Yes one can add other herbs for additional medicinal benefits... eg..cinnamon...lemon balm..clove..A good winter blend.... What is left over can be stored in the fridge.... A cold cordial is equally as nutritional from these herbs...Sometimes I will have half organic apple juice and rosehip herb tea in a glass.cold....Delicious...................The following notations are direct from Dorothy Hall's..'The Herb Tea Book...dated 1980..".Iron and copper compounds are found in rosehips tea, together with a type of Vit C which actually needs the heat of water just off the boil to free it from its' resin-clad molecular bond...... There is plenty of Vit C available from one cup of tea., enough to make its' daily use a good supplementary source .... Rosehips are technically a berry type fruit and also contain Vitamins P and Vitamin K......These help to maintain blood quality and normal viscosity, as well as providing a general circulatory tonic."........."Vitamin P" is the name once used to describe a group of plant-based substances we now know as flavonoids or bioflavonoids... and as new microscopic science has taught us... red - blue berry fruits contain anthocyanins...which are free radical scavengers....... ... Rosehip tea is an excellent tea to drink when breaking the coffee..addiction habit..... It is also considered an adrenal stimulant ..so not really suitable before retiring............. Any further 'in the now' information can be gained from herbal websites or organic food websites..and/or type in search bar... Rosehips nutritional composition or analysis...and all the sites will be revealed.............. If anyone who has taken the time to read my post wishes to purchase a Wild Dog Rose seedling, Rosa canina.. please let me know......:)....... ROSEHIPS...Excellent immune system nutrition.....<3 See more
