To avoid food poisoning, simply cook your meats to temperatures up to 75C. This will kill the dangerous bacteria and ensure you are not cross-contaminating the kitchen. ... Purchase a food thermometer to ensure all meats cooked have reached temperatures up to 75C Ensure you deep clean all utensils and cutting boards that have come in contact with raw meats. One recommendation to take onboard - use a plastic cutting board rather than wooden. Seal all juices from raw meat into a sealed bag and toss away into the garbage rather than pouring down the sink and possibly exposing your kitchen to cross-contamination.
