23.01.2022 Well it felt good getting out and playing again. For some reason I just haven’t been feeling the game of late. Went down to @queenscliffgolfclub yesterday to blow the cobwebs out. Course is in really nice condition from bunkers, fairways and greens and a lot of work has been done with the surrounds. While this course is not long it’s strength is in the tight fairways where accuracy off the tee is a must. Great little track with friendly staff/volunteers and a must play. #mygolfadventures #loverhisgame #getbackoutthere #ihada9

23.01.2022 G’day everyone. Just wanted to check in. I haven’t been playing much golf since the Covid restrictions, manly due to lack of interest and golf had lost its fun. I was having a lot of bad shots and rounds. But I went out a couple of weeks ago, played with some mates and had a laugh again and realised that this is what golf should be... fun. It’s given me the drive to hopefully get to that scratch h’cap I’ve been wanting all my life. The scorecard is from yesterday and is my best round in months. I’m hoping to get out and start posting some new golf courses but at the moment with covid it’s all in the air. 23.01.2022 First time playing @growlingfroggolfclub today. Have been wanting to get up here for a while and I was not disappointed. Course is in great condition, fairways were spot on, greens played really good considering they got cored a few weeks ago, and the beers are nice and cold after a warm day on the course. 23.01.2022 Thought I’d make the most of the weather and go for a hit at a small country club. Lexton golf club is a great little track, and while it isn’t a long course it still keeps you honest with some good length par 3’s a par 5 with O.O.B all up the right, and a great 9th hole with O.O.B all down the left. 22.01.2022 Well that’s the week for me. @asgcinsta for a few rounds, considering it hasn’t rained here for 12months the course is going ok. Layout of the course is very good and hard to comment on the fairways as I said they haven’t had rain and the greens had just been cored. Loved the course all the same, and hospitality starting from the staff in the pro shop to the bar staff was top notch. 19.01.2022 Had a great day today ticking off a new amazing course @barwonheadsgolfclub. Course was in amazing condition and even though the greens have had light work done to them they still played very good. It was good of the pro shop staff to give us the heads up when booking and knocking the price down. Staff were very friendly and members were helpful and up for a chat. The course itself was very easy to walk and provided a great old school links challenge (lucky with the wind today) easy to see why this course rates very well in the country. #golf #lovethisgame #anothercourseoffthelist #mygolfadventures #linksgolf @ Barwon Heads Golf Club

17.01.2022 So this is where I learned this great game of golf. I started this game playing off a 36 h’cap and got down to 3 (playing off scratch here though) Rokewood golf club is a country club that is a flat 9 hole 12 tee sand scrap course. Unfortunately the members aren’t where it was when I was a kid, but you are always guaranteed a good laugh when out there. For a club that avg 8 on a Saturday and has 3 volunteers do the work it is in great condition. 07.01.2022 Awesome day today @huntingdalegolfclub. Weather perfect, course perfect but Unfortunately the golf was putrid, but I guess 2 out of 3 isn’t bad. Considering the time of year course was in great nick, gum trees were fun to walk under to search for my ball and the footpath over the other side of the boundary fence was in good nick. And I’m pretty sure I put a ball on metropolitans 5th fairway . Looking forward to going back and testing the fairways out . Greens were 3 out of 5. But the hospitality from all staff was awesome. 03.01.2022 Yesterday decided to hit the frog and toad and get up for a round @neangarpark in Bendigo Victoria. While my photos are the best to show of the course as it was a comp and didn’t want to upset the field (will do better next time) the course was in great conditions. But the greens were next level, by far the best greens I’ve played on for a while. A great course that has some great holes, and was a peaceful walk as well. Staff were friendly and members helpful.
