24.01.2022 If I could only choose one oil to help as many people on the planet as possible, it would be Copaiba. There is no organ or system within the body that cannot be supported by this oleoresin from deep within the Amazon. If inflammation is the root of disease than Copaiba is the antidote. The -Caryophyllene (BCP) found in Copaiba is a wonderful attenuator of inflammatory responses in the body. It's a phytocannabinoid found in concentrations of over 50% in Co...paiba that acts on some of the same receptor sites as CBD. The overarching goal of the ECS is to achieve perfect balance in the body and regulate both physical and mental health. It is a beautiful system and an incredibly important one. Copaiba and her phytocannabinoids are very effective ECS activators, particularly when paired with a high limonene essential oil. Research shows limonene may help cannabinoids work more effectively as they go about their duties of restoring harmony. Yellow Mandarin (yours FREE this month with your FREE Copaiba) is a perfect option. Copaiba Superpowers Include.... - A loved up & protected liver from harmful toxins. - A free-flowing cardiovascular system. - Speedy skin clearing, restoration & recovery. - A less angry & sore digestive system. - A nervous system that goes from on edge to ahhhhh. - An immune system that is better able to recognize friend from foe. - Overexcited neural tissue calms the F**k down. - A little less fight or flight and a little more grounded. - Cells that communicate clearly with each other and recognize when it's time to detonate the kill switch. Some ways that I love to use Copaiba are..... - Dabbed onto occasional blemishes or added to my DIY Skin Serum. - Inhaled from the hands before bed. - Adding a drop to Sumo's dinner. - Placing 1-2 drops under my tongue. - Added to CorrectX for extra oomph. - Added to raw chocolate or cacao for a more mellow experience. How do you like to use Copaiba?
23.01.2022 Holy Moly Friends...... are we being kept busy with BOGO Week Globally or what! I fully intend on posting some videos here for you with a thorough overview on all the oils included in both the Aussie and US Boxes but for now, some brevity is needed to focus on my Community Education. To all my US and Canadian followers, this is for you -... Your BOGO box is out of control amazing... I mean Melissa?? Seriously?? The Oil of Light is one of the most highly revered and sought after oils that doTerra offer. Its tiny 5ml bottle belies her power for she is a force to be reckoned with. Her torch-bearing ways shine light on the darkest parts of us and often act as a beacon to guide us back 'home'. One thing that we could all use a little help with is dropping into our creative brain. The WORLD needs us to be more creative right now to come up with creative solutions to the problems that we face. We really have lost the art of daydreaming which is such a powerful place for our brain to hang out. Allowing ourselves to dream, visualise and drift into a relaxed lucid state opens up new avenues and pathways in our neural map that in turn, bring forth solutions to hard problems. Melissa is an oil that encourages Theta and Alpha brain wave activity which are associated with the states I've mentioned above. Try pairing her with Clary Sage, Jasmine and Siberian Fir to really influence the mind to imprint new positive behaviours and thought patterns. Friends, this is a powerful place to get started on your own essential oil adventure. If you do not have a membership with doTerra and would LOVE to have me as your oily guide, please don't hesitate to ask for my help and let's get you going. You only have another 24 hours to enrol with this beautiful box of oils! x Bec
22.01.2022 The pineal gland is the principal seat of the soul..... In this time of great upheaval, unrest, curiosity, rabbit holes, and searching, never before has the humble little pea, shaped like a pinecone that is our pineal gland received so much interest. Buried deep in the geometric centre of our brain, it is our link between the physical and spiritual worlds and is intimately linked to light....Continue reading
21.01.2022 Detox Support Post Vax. This Q comes up often and to be honest, there is a lot of misinformation about what and how we can use certain products. We know that Vax's contain a tonne of aluminium and other toxic adjuvants that are our body does not like one little bit. They have a tendency to hide out in highly sensitive, fatty areas of our body such as our brain and breasts. Our thyroid hates them. Yay!... We also know that how well our methylation/ detox pathways perform on a daily basis thanks to our genetic makeup has a huge impact on post vax outcomes. You can find this information by completing a DNA test through Ancestry etc & then working with a gene literate Functional Practitioner/ Naturopath to decode your raw data & walk you through your methylation pathways & any weak areas that need TLC. ( I ran through this over on my insta and FB stories yesterday for you ) Supporting your body pre and post vax is imperative. Contrary to popular belief, Cilantro essential oil does not have the ability to bind to heavy metals such as aluminum and escort them out of the body safely. Oils are great for loosening up the garbage in concentrated areas and getting it ready for collection but they CANNOT carry it away. We need binders to support the total elimination of waste so that toxins do not continue to circulate in our system. Binders are your garbage trucks that collect and carry toxic waste away. For this reason, I feel it's wise to avoid using cilantro or coriander where heavy metals are present without a binder. Examples of binders are bentonite clay, zeolite clay, aloe, apple pectin & activated charcoal. I use GI Detox which is a blend of all of the above. https://biocidin.com/products/gi-detox Other Suggestions - Citrus Oils in your water to upregulate your Phase 1 and 2 Liver Detoxification. Zendocrine Softgels x 3 daily A binder such as GI Detox taken 20-30 minutes AFTER each Zendocrine Softgel. DDR Prime to clear away junk matter from cell receptor sites. Zendocrine Detox Complex x 3 daily with meals. Double Dose of xEOmega or Kids IQ Omega which are critical for keeping inflammation under wraps. Liposomal Glutathione. Wheat Grass or Barley Grass Powder which are both excellent sources of SOD aka Superoxide Dimutase. The Grand Daddy of our Antioxidants. Castor Oil Packs over the Liver. Excellent for lymphatic cleansing. Epsom Salt, Bi-Carb & Bentonite Bath's to flush and pull toxins. Be Empowered
20.01.2022 It really should be no surprise to us that Vitamin D plays an integral role in gut health. After all, our entire body is brimming with Vitamin D Receptors or VDR's, our gut included. For those with inflammatory bowel disease, ulcerative colitis, IBS, Leaky Gut - let the sun SHINE on your bare naked belly!! Sunlight on the abdomen helps to diversify the microbiome, repair leaky gut, reduce the leaking of bacteria into the bloodstream, and the translocation of bacteria i...nto areas of the body where they should not be residing. Intestinal permeability is one of the leading contributing factors to the development of autoimmune conditions. Vitamin D has an important role to play in controlling intestinal barrier integrity and reducing the incidence of leaky gut. At the cellular level, vitamin D signaling regulates tight junctional complexes, apoptosis, and autophagy, leading to increased epithelial barrier integrity, and promotes the expression of antimicrobial peptides as part of its immunomodulating functions. "Epidemiological studies have identified vitamin D (25(OH)D) deficiency to be highly prevalent among patients with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), and low serum levels correlate with higher disease activity and a more complicated disease course. A leaky gut, i.e. an insufficient intestinal epithelial barrier, is thought to be central for the pathogenesis of IBD, and emerging data support the concept that vitamin D/VDR signaling in intestinal epithelial cells (IECs) has an important role in controlling barrier integrity." So folks - bare naked skin (sans sunscreen) on your tummy between sunrise to 11 am or from 3 pm- dusk on the daily if you can to keep your VDR's full and activated with all the D they need. Remember that we are designed to receive our Vitamin D direct from the sun. Supplementation should always be considered secondary to our greatest natural resource - sunlight If you would love for me to share more of this type of info which I froth upon, let me know below

17.01.2022 Hey There Guys! You may have noticed that I really have not been posting anything at all on my page here. Facebook just is not appealing to me anymore. ... I am really enjoying communicating with you all verbally via my instagram account and I've got to say that the community vibes are much, much stronger over on instagram. I have LOVED forming relationships with so many of you over instagram DM's. I do not wish to give the Zuckerberg Technocrats behind this company any more information and power than they already have, however, I'm also mindful that for many of you, facebook is your only social platform. I will continue posting to facebook stories for the time being but if you would like MORE of me, come join in the conversation over on Instagram. x Bec
17.01.2022 Full Rundown of Today's BOGO Day One Offerings....... Buy One Green Mandarin, Get One Juniper Berry = a saving of $30. Interestingly Green Mandarin comes from the Red Mandarin tree and is simply the unripened fruit. Green mandarins were previously a waste product as the trees needed to have 70% their unripened immature fruit removed in order to allow the remaining 30% to mature and ripen ready to be sold at fruit markets. Thanks to the demand for Green Mandarin Essential Oil,...Continue reading
16.01.2022 The top 4 Gut Health destroyers are - 1. Glyphosate 2. Gluten 3. Antibiotics 4. Insufficient interaction with Nature. ... Gluten & Glyphosate have one thing in common, they both have a knack for ruining the integrity of the gut wall and are responsible for intestinal permeability. Otherwise known as leaky gut. Leaky Gut is often the instigator for kicking off many an autoimmune disease. Antibiotics. Bio= Life. Antibiotics are Anti-Life at their core. They absolutely have a time & a place but over-prescription has decimated our microbiome & left us devoid of diversity & with insufficient good guys to crowd out the bad. Just one weeklong course of antibiotics changed participants' gut microbiomes, with the effects lasting as long as a year one study found. In children, whose body systems are still developing, the gut microbiome takes a heavy blow from antibiotics. A study from 2016 showed that one weeklong course of antibiotics caused significant changes to children’s microbiomes that were not resolved until 2 years later. We have a severe nature deficiency issue in the year 2020. Lockdowns have seen us spend significantly more time indoors, with less sunlight and less exposure to the natural world in general. This again has a significant impact on the diversity of our biome. Not to mention the chronic use of biocides to disinfect our environments. We are designed to get our hands dirty, to roll in the grass (not sprayed with glyphosate of course), play with dogs, interact with other humans and be exposed to their biomes, breathe in the volatile aromatic compounds of the trees, flowers, and natural world around us. This is how we build resilient, healthy guts. As humans, we have a symbiotic dependence on the natural world in order for us to flourish as a species. We need plants to nourish our cells with antioxidants, sunshine to fill up our Vitamin D Receptors, clean water to hydrate & replenish our internal ocean with, healthy soil full of microbes to nourish our biome, and clean air to breathe. To quote Edward Abbey - "Wilderness is not a luxury but a necessity of the human spirit and survival."
15.01.2022 Women are 15 X more likely than men to develop Thyroid Disease did you know? That ain't no coincidence...... Hashimoto's affects 14 million people in the United States alone (mostly women), making it the most common thyroid disorder in America. Thyroid ultrasound rates in Australia quadrupled between 1997 and 2017. Both thyroidectomy rates and thyroid cancer incidence doubled between 2003 and 2012 in NSW alone. ...Continue reading

13.01.2022 The term 'Unexplained Infertility' is baffling to me as there is ALWAYS a reason. I feel it's a term coined by practitioners who just aren't prepared to dig deeper and get to the root cause. Too hard basket. For those who have had that term used to describe their circumstances - I feel immensely frustrated for you. Fertility is a big topic with many, many variables that need to be taken into consideration.... Often it's the woman who bears the burden of not being able to fall pregnant as if it's a fault of hers alone. It couldn't be further from the truth though as the health of the sperm dictates the viability of the pregnancy in 40% of cases. How well fertilisation takes place, the quality of the embryo and how successfully cells divide in those critical early weeks are all impacted by the quality of the sperm. All that aside, one thing is clear, the Cleanse and Restore Kit offered by doTerra has a pretty bloody impressive success rate at helping couples fall pregnant. Most likely because they - Target unaddressed yeast overgrowth issues. Clear out toxic xenoestrogens that interfere with our own hormone function. Open up and support our detoxification pathways. Modulate inflammation. Restore the code of our DNA and Correct nutritional deficiencies Combined with a low tox lifestyle, whole foods diet, filtered water and stress management...... I think it's a fabulous program for BOTH members of the equation to complete if you have come to a roadblock on your fertility journey. https://spark.adobe.com/page/Mo74CmmQTJKuS/

08.01.2022 Here’s the lowdown on why Fractionated Coconut Oil is such a damn fine carrier oil to use. FCO is the remaining medium-chain triglycerides which are left when the long-chain, saturated fatty acids are separated via hydrolysis & steam distillation. The separation process is 100% chemical-free, no solvents such as Hexane are used and it is NOT the same process as hydrogenation that makes vegetable oils & margarine so toxic to humans. FCO has a long shelf life, is supe...r light, non-greasy, non-staining, and is just the right molecule size to hold essential oils to the skin without leaving any residue behind. FCO one of the most commonly recommended oils mainly because it's low cost, has no aroma & has an extremely low allergy/sensitivity risk. Now when it comes to moisturising properties, FCO has had the Saturated Fatty Acids removed which make plain old coconut oil super moisturising. This means it's not really the carrier you're going to choose for its moisturising properties and when used on your face, it can be pretty drying. I don't use it on my face for this reason. Body massage only. What it DOES have though is high amounts of Capric acid and Caprylic acid, making it rather fab for fighting fungal and bacterial infections on the skin. The only real difference between MCT oil and FCO is that MCT is food grade, FCO isn't. That's why I recommend MCT or Olive Oil to use in veggie caps. Keep in mind though that not all MCT’s are created equal and some are extracted and purified using chemical agents AND are a combination of Palm Oil + Coconut which isn’t cool. I like Bulletproof Brain Octane Oil for this reason. There are heaps of different uses for Fractionated Coconut Oil beyond just a good carrier oil such as..... *Quick and easy eye makeup remover. *A silky and most importantly non-toxic personal lubricant so keep a bottle in the bedroom. Most personal lubes contain ingredients that cause the vaginal wall to atrophy leaving you drier than before. Glycerin is one of the common offending ingredients. *Tame frizzy hair & smooth split ends. Free for All Aussies & NZ peeps this month!
07.01.2022 Daily Usage Amounts & Methods of Use.... It's always good to circle back and touch upon some of the fundamentals when it comes to safe and effective oil usage. Remember that there absolutely IS such a thing as too much oil and big amounts are not better.... Our bodies respond better to less oil used more frequently. It allows for the metabolic processing of oils, does not overload the liver, and provides us with improved therapeutic outcomes too. As I discussed in my video the other night for my team, when it comes to topical use, peak uptake in the bloodstream of essential oils occurs at the 20-minute mark and from there it slowly peeters out. There is typically none left in our system past one hour. What this tells us is that we have a great capacity to apply a small amount of oil frequently. For acute situations, we could apply them every 30 minutes if we needed but for most situations, every hour or so is just fine for standard sustained outcomes. Remember that our thicker and more sticky oils such as Vetiver, Patchouli, Spikenard or Sandalwood which all have an abundance of Sesquiterpenes, have a slower processing time and therefore will linger in our body for longer so that's something to take into account. As you can see from the graph below, topical application (alongside inhalation) produces the most sustained period of therapeutic activity. Oral and internal use are ALL about short, sharp, systematic, effective outcomes. Oils used via these methods are absorbed into our bloodstream efficiently, create change rather quickly, are metabolised by the liver and then exit our body in a short period of time. Oils that travel through our digestive system via internal (not oral) use will always be degraded by our digestive juices unless we are taking them in an enteric-coated capsule. Whilst this isn't a bad thing, it does limit the oils opportunity to create change to the digestive system itself vs oral use bypasses this all together and has a more wide-reaching impact across all systems in the body. Inhalation is the most subtle method of use for sure but it is no less powerful. From inhalation alone - we can modulate our skin permeability, impact the production of hormones, change biochemistry and release neurotransmitters to change cognitive function and mood just from one big sniff. I hope this is helpful info! Have you got questions about methods of use that I can help you with?? x Bec
05.01.2022 Something I want you to ponder and embody as this weird time of the world rages on around us..... Don't ever forget that there is a human symbiotic dependence on nature and natural things in order for us to flourish and for our species to survive. The plants around us not only provide our body with critical antioxidants to preserve health, they cleanse and filter the air of harmful toxins whilst pumping oxygen into our atmosphere. Trees exhale and in turn ...we get to live. The sun and her rays ensure that our bones don't bend but remain rigid and strong. Her light activates thousands upon thousands of Vitamin D receptors located all over our body which in turn stimulates critical hormone production. The water we drink must be clean, free from pathogenic bacteria and harmful chemicals to sustain the life within each and every one of our cells. WE are bodies of water. The soil and her precious microbes nourish our internal worlds, keep our immune systems resilient and robust, yet somehow we've been taught to fear the earth. Our overly sterile society shuns the very soil we walk upon.... Every spirited thing in our cosmos has a respiratory system. We all breathe the same air. We inhale the exhalations of plants and the quality of the air we breathe is directly proportionate to what we put out in it. Stale air means life begins to cease. We have lost our connection with the natural elements and how we relate with them as a species. We have a nature deficiency and thanks to lockdown, the deficiency is gathering speed. Don't be afraid of the world that surrounds you. Embrace the natural elements. Understand that they are there to support your life and we in turn must support what creates those vital essences. Step outside, sink your feet into the earth, get your hands dirty, hug a tree, take a deep breath and let the sun kiss your skin See more
