25.01.2022 Guys, I’m in a freaking journal! Honestly though, I would not be the woman I am today without the people in my life including @sociallyem. The people who support and encourage me.... Some I have known for years and some only a short period. Some I have met in person and some I have not. Either way my village of people around me is incredible and without sounding cliche I am actually sooooo blessed! Each and everyone of you inspire me, support me, love me and I am so thankful for you all! We all know this year has been a roller coaster but I’m looking at the positives and they absolutely outweigh the negatives. 24.01.2022 It’s almost the weekend everybody! How has your week been so far? I started off feeling very under the weather but nothing came of it, so I’m going to put it down to #hayfever! Not my favourite thing about #spring that’s for sure!... Then I scored a massive win! I went to have lunch with my beautiful manager from #Adairs (no longer work there) and I found a KING quilt cover for $18!!! That’s an insane price! Since then, I have kept on #winning (aside from Charlotte being hard work yesterday, Thank you teething). I have such a clean house, no washing pile to put away (until the next load ), I have caught up on most of my work and I had a ball today merchandising @rosalynandrae showroom! 24.01.2022 Does your body just tell you to #slowdown, because mine has Yesterday while carrying some of @the_village_co bags I took a wrong step on a rock and rolled my ankle which lead me to fall to my knees. I am so clumsy and so this fall does not surprise me at all but something seems to be telling me to slow down! I have a habit of taking on too much or doing too many things at once and pushing myself that bit too far.... So I would like to know because I actually have no idea, how do you slow down? What do you do to switch off? Ps. How beautiful is Charlotte’s bedroom. There are still a few pieces missing but I couldn’t wait any longer to show you. 19.01.2022 Can you believe it’s only 11 days until Christmas! I feel like every time I go to sleep I loose weeks! There’s only a month until my baby turns 2 also!... Seriously, these last few months have flown! In saying this all my Christmas shopping is done and I only have to wrap 2 presents the rest are sitting underneath the tree ready to go! 17.01.2022 Some real talk for you! I don’t think Ive talked about it before but I have random anxiety attacks. I don’t like to say ‘I suffer from anxiety’ because I know there are people out there that suffer so bad and I feel like I can deal with mine, but I also don’t want to be woe is me. ... My anxiety comes in random small attacks that are normally over something so small (or the dentist ) it takes me soo long to work out what I’m actually so worried about. I haven’t had one in sooo long and I was so impressed. Then a few nights ago I woke up at 2am and found myself shaking and couldn’t break it. Normally I tuck myself in tight and if hubby’s around just being up close to him does the trick. It takes time but it works. The other night it wasn’t enough so I actually found myself giving myself a pep talk. ‘ , , , ’ This worked! I was so shocked but then I thought about it. Those things are true and I probably should say them to myself way more than I do. So when sesame street came on today and the word of the day was #anxiety I thought I would see if you struggle with any type of anxiety and how you deal with it? Please know my DM’s are always open to chat about anything including this! I am promising myself (you are all here to keep me accountable), I will be telling myself more often all of the pep talk things because I think it’s important to hear them more than we do! See more

16.01.2022 Stop growing up! Not coping with how you are growing and changing. I am so proud though!... I am loving all the interactive learning and open ended toys we have for Charlotte. This threading flower included. What are your favourite ‘toys’ in your home? I don’t think I could choose but Charlotte is loving anything that uses her mind!

15.01.2022 I think I need to bring back my obsession of indoor plants! Are you an indoor plant person? When we had Charlotte my plants got a little neglected a bit like me and so eventually they either were given away so someone else could enjoy them or they didn’t make it! ... I think Charlotte’s now at the age where I think I could put them around the house and she would leave them be for the most part. What plant am I buying next? Ps. I have read 95% of this incredible journal and I feel so inspired. I cannot wait to share the inspiration with you x See more

15.01.2022 Mini Me I have always thought Charlotte had more of @iainnorthcott features, but over the last couple of weeks I think I can see more of my features coming through. Her hair and her big smile is like mine when I was little, but she does not sit still like I did (swipe across to see me at approx the same age)... 05.01.2022 Hubby started his 2 weeks of holidays today only for covid to come and play in Adelaide and put restrictions in again. We are hoping we still have 2 weeks of fun activities planned together and that we don’t have to send him back to work We are going to redo the office into a spare room with a study-nook. 03.01.2022 Is anyone else like me and their bed could almost be their best friend? Literally if I didn’t have to leave it I probably wouldn’t However, I didn’t realise that bed could get better! Having the right mattress actually makes a huge difference!... Hubby was so excited to purchase a new mattress and it was definitely worth it. Now for new pillows too. What are your must haves for your bed? Do we get a new pillow top or a wool underlay? I want all your tips, please! X Ps. 02.01.2022 Have you thought about your 2021 goals yet? The new year is only 16 days away. I have been planning my goals in all areas of life for next year and cannot wait to see them come to life.... One of them is feeling healthy. Although I feel the happiest I have ever felt and the most confident I have ever felt. I am not feeling the healthiest I have ever felt. I don’t mean my weight or my rolls or any bad comments that may come to mind about my body. I mean how I feel. I know that I have a long way to go to get there but I do think that it will be easier to get there as I already feel happy and confident. It’s like adding the finishing pieces to the puzzle.
