18.01.2022 Love some more help everyone. The beautiful ironwork archway over the school's front gate was installed in late 1996. Does anyone know who made it?

17.01.2022 Thanks, team of 1995. Unknown names have been solved with your help. Natasha is in green, Wende was at the end of the row, not where we'd had her listed, because that was Phoebe! Yay! 1995 was particularly tricky because the whole school photo seems to have been taken on a different day to the class photos. So, everyone was wearing different clothes and different people were there and absent.

14.01.2022 https://www.ahc.sa.gov.au/ahc-ne//Time-Capsule-Opened.aspx The mystery of the 2000 time capsule has been solved. By coincidence really. Turns out that is was planned to be opened 20 years after installation, 2020! The contents have been retrieved. Beautiful letters and artwork from the 4-7 classes, cute drawings from the R-1 class and a cassette (that is yet to be played) from the 2-3 class. There is a bit of water damage to some of the letters. Once everything has been dried out, all will be available for viewing at the school.

12.01.2022 More help needed, Mylor students - you may be aware of the book "The Light in the Valley", written by Jan Polkinghorne for the centenary of Mylor Primary School in 1994. We are adding an update to this book, covering the last 25 years. We'd love to include some of your memories from your time at school - do you have any stories you can share, perhaps about something funny that happened at camp, at other special events, in the classroom with friends? Please message me a paragraph or two...love to hear from you. Even better - would love to meet you at the 125th Spring Fair!

04.01.2022 Here's 1995's whole school photo - what a classic! We're adding names to this photo, using the class photos - but we can't work out who these young ladies are? Any ideas?

03.01.2022 As you have all heard, we are working on an update of the "Light in the Valley", the school's history book, to include a section covering the last 25 years. To hopefully make the update an even more interesting read we'd like to include your stories from 1994 to the present. Do you have a funny story or any memorable experiences from your time at school that you can share? .from the classroom, special events, school camps, playing with friends??... If anything comes to mind please scribble down a paragraph or two and message us in the next few weeks. Submissions will close at the end of December so don't miss out!

02.01.2022 There are only a couple of days until our 125th celebration. If you are coming please take note of the following information: - the time capsule will be opened at about 2:30pm - please park at the town oval as the school car park will be a designated parking zone for special guests or people with disabilities - please enter through the front gate - we will have some finger food for sale on the day, please bring along gold coins to purchase food... 01.01.2022 ....and it's still not over! Class of 2000, particularly if you were in years 6 or 7 in that year - with Sunday's opening of the 1991 and 1986 time capsules, there were strong rumours of a 2000 time capsule. Some remembered the concept and the preparation, and even that it went off to the Heysen Tunnels when complete. According to Google the tunnels were completed in 1998 and officially opened in March 2000. Do you remember putting something together? Do you know where the capsule went?
