23.01.2022 Join us today at 11am for our free exercise event! This will be a 45 minute class including a variety of strength and balance exercises. This class is led by our Accredited Exercise Physiologist and is suitable for all ages and abilities.

22.01.2022 We are delighted that all major private health funds are now covering Physiotherapy Telehealth consultations. (See the individual funds for details) Today Medibank announced that by the 14th of April 2020 they have agreed to pay benefits for individual (one on one) consultations delivered via telehealth for physiotherapy. In line with national government COVID-19 initiatives, benefits will be paid towards these consultations until 30th September 2020. The guidelines Medibank... recommend for telehealth consultations apply to eligible Medibank members who have an extras product that includes cover for the allied health profession where*: The patient is undergoing an existing course of treatment or has been a patient of the clinic/health professional in the past six months. For new patients, consultations will remain available but preference for their GP to provide recommendation for treatment options where possible**. The service is delivered between Tuesday 14th of April 2020 and the 30th of September 2020. * Normal waiting periods and annual limits apply to telehealth consultations. ** The telehealth consultation should not form part of a Chronic Disease Management plan where a Medicare benefit applies.

We have now setup and successfully completed online telehealth consultations, and completed a number of classes in a virtual environment as well. We are delighted with how these have gone and are confident that they will allow us to continue to provide our essential service in a safe and effective way.
