23.01.2022 This morning some members had an introduction & training session with the CFA POD mobile, which will be here at our Showground until Mid November for other Brigades to come & update their skills in Fire Fighting!

06.01.2022 Fire Restrictions start Monday morning 29th October @ 0100hrs - These pictures show green grass burning from old dry fuel from last year! "Never leave a fire unattended THEY WILL ESCAPE Thanks to Gapsted Captain Laurey & Mugegonga Captain Bernie & Terry for their support with our burn on Wednesday night - Good job by Myrtleford members for a great Control Burn

05.01.2022 Last night - Wednesday 2/5/18 - Fire Restrictions Off - Time to take it easy, but alas, guess what! Someone decides to have a burn off & ignore all Rules: # Burn off left unattended # Not enough Manpower # No fire fighting equipment ... One positive thing coming from this callout is that the police got involved & the Landowner will be prosecuted. NP: *PLEASE PLAN YOUR BURN & ensure you follow all guide lines & NEVER LEAVE AN ALIGHTED FIRE UNATTENDED* There will be consequences if you do!!!!!

03.01.2022 We celebrated our Brigades Presentation Dinner tonight & presented some members with their Service Awards! A great night by all who attended!



02.01.2022 Early Yesterday morning our fire crew along with around 5 other Brigade crews attended a house fire in Clemens Lane! Unfortunately the house was well alight & couldn't be saved!
