23.01.2022 I have been cutting and freezing lemons ready for the summer. Every year I receive multiple bags of free lemons, so as well as making cleaning solutions, I also freeze the sliced lemons, so they act like ice cubes and flavouring at the same time!

Having all these crafts and activities is extremely important, so I wanted to ensure everything was easy to see, categorised and easy to keep tidy too. Such a beautiful family, Ive enjoyed working on the storage solutions so much. ... This is just one of the double cupboards in the room, and it turned out just as I imagined. 12.01.2022 REDUCING WASTE I think the best thing Ive come across in reducing waste has been beeswax wraps. Here I have one covering my 1kg block of cheese.... They are excellent, re-usable and save money in the long run. What has been your best way to reduce waste?
12.01.2022 PLASTIC REDUCTION As you know, one of my key aims for this year was to reduce our household plastic waste. One of the things I removed was bin bags! I understand there or sustainable options out there, but for me they are more expensive and not needed.... Instead I use the councils food bin and green bags which is changed daily, and my main bin is used without a bag and is washed every time I remove the bag. Using the small bin for food waste eliminates any nasty smells or wetness in my main bin, so this system works well for us. Thoughts?? #reducewaste#cleaningbins#environment#noolastic @mysclifestyle

Instead I made a load of rolls up, wrapped and froze them for lunches for another occasion... and then I halved the rest of the sausages, tray froze them, then popped the frozen sausages in a bag for my daughters school lunches!... #notwasteful#foodwaste#savingmoney#food#packedlunches#birthdayparty

04.01.2022 Well after a whole 7 years of owning this land, we are selling. So many of you have been through our journey from hell, from starting to build with a private builder, to a whopping 4 years in court. Unfortunately no one wins, and although we did actually win our case (3 times over), we lost all our legal fees because the builder wouldnt pay. That is $200,000 right there. So, I cant wait to sell this land and hopefully someone can make something beautiful with it.
