14.01.2022 The Woodbury community engagement program told us that road congestion is a big issue that needs to be addressed in the southern Redlands. We're excited about the State Government's announcement of $37 Million of funding for the duplication of Cleveland Redland Bay Road through Victoria Point. In addition to the $5 Million allocated for the upgrade of the Anita Street Intersection, the State Government have now committed $42 Million for road improvements to Cleveland-Redland... Bay Road. This is a great outcome for the community of the Redlands. We're working with the State Government and Redland City Council to determine how Woodbury can best provide further road improvements. 14.01.2022 On the 29th of March, we held the Woodbury High School design workshop. Renowned landscape architect and urban designer, Mark Fuller, helped Redland's brightest young design thinkers to generate ideas to shape their future community. Mark has been instrumental in the design and delivery of some of South East Queensland's most loved public spaces including Southbank, Roma Street and Southport Broadwater Parklands. Throughout the days session, Mark worked with each student team, providing valuable insights on design process and thinking. #livingwoodbury #redlandscoast

10.01.2022 Last week, Fiteni Homes uncovered the aspirations of 72 inspiring Redlands students from six local schools about the character and design of Woodbury, a future community for Redlands. The Primary School Workshop was held at Redland Bay State School on the 27th of March. Facilitator Brooke Williams from CoDesign Studio explained how the workshops provided a unique opportunity for students to learn from professional landscape architects and urban designers. ... "This dynamic workshop provided a chance for students to participate in a true co-design project. Such a creative exchange between children and professionals is rarely part of the development process. It empowers students to effect real change in their neighbourhood. Brooke said. Gathering local knowledge is essential to creating well-loved design outcomes. Fiteni Homes want to know communitys aspirations for nature play and outdoor recreation in Redlands so they can cultivate a sense of stewardship over the new development.
