14.01.2022 SEAT Project for 40th Birthday Celebration! Since Term 2, our Year 5 students have been on a journey of personal growth involving the SEAT Project. As a values based project, SEAT encourages students to explore their own potential to enhance the world in which they live. During the program, the children constructed and decorated a small bamboo seat to sell in order to raise money for their chosen charity - Grace Ministries. The foundation, which houses orphans in Thailand who... would have been exploited through the slave trade and prostitution, are in need of more land to support the increasing number of young, homeless children. Our aim is to raise as much capital as possible to help with the purchase of land. The seats the Year 5 students have built and decorated for this project will be on sale at our 40th Birthday Celebration through a paper bidding auction. You will find the SEAT project auction in Neptune unit on the day. The exhibit will be open between 4pm - 5:30pm with bids starting at $20. Donations to support this cause are also gratefully accepted.
