22.01.2022 [CLIENT ] Morven News & Country Store wasn't immune to the effects COVID-19 had in their town. The number of people visiting was way down and they quickly realised something had to change so they could stay afloat. "We need to move online!" they told us. Fast forward to now and they have a fairly simple yet effective Shopify website that has helped them get back on track until the visitors start flowing again to their town in Outback Queensland. And now that they're online, they've opened up their shop nationwide so they don't have to rely on tourists. How awesome is that?! Check out their site here --> https://morvennews.com.au

20.01.2022 Don't worry about whether the cup is half empty or half full. All that matters is that you keep pouring into that cup. Feeling like you don't have enough to pour in right now? It's totally okay to take some time out to refill and replenish. That said, I'm taking two weeks of holidays (28 Sep - 12 Oct inclusive). I've been waiting for things to slow down, but they haven't so I made the decision to take some time off. I'll be around but I won't be. Catch you on the other side!

The end of year fatigue + overwhelming amount of work + silly season + impending school holidays = hit that snooze button one more time. Don't worry, it's totally normal so be kind to yourself! Confession: I'm a snooze-button-hitter. One of my life goals is to be able to jump out of bed at the first alarm.

02.01.2022 I love a good storm. The drama of thunder and lightning is a little bit thrilling. (For my son, not so much!) But storms in a non-literal sense are usually less fun. We all have our stormy days, weeks... hell, 2020 has been a stormy year! But the other good thing about storms is that the sun always, ALWAYS shines afterwards.
